Casino Niagara — Attraction in Niagara Falls

My third update since 2023 for this joke of a casino..do not call the casino direct line to the entertainment for tickets on a Sunday as no one will pick up the phone ..its been one hour and 15 mins so we hung up ..constant mess and a joke this entire casino ..please read the rest of my review ...from last year below...APRIL 15TH 2023..UPDATED WE HAD TO Pay 60 dollars to park what is this Disney World ...THATS INSANE .....Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment and governed by Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).. Thats who now is running your Niagara Casinos . You can blame this on the Ford Gov't and I will tell you why..I get the fact that Mohegan Gaming got involved in 2019. They had a ton of cash they out bid hugely the big boys in Vegas who put in a bid just prior to covid hitting. Yes they were closed after taking over for almost 2 years. My point is I dont feel though that it should be a licence to now hose every single person who would like to spend a week day or a weekend afternoon at one of our Casinos in Niagara. To start with forget about all the great times you had in the past thats all over now ... I had usually gone 2 to 3 times a month heading for a great time at the Casino but not any more....now you are confronted with a corporation trying to make back all the money they lost over the past 2 years by bringing in so many new electonic machines that to be honest have been set so most of you will never ever have even a close chance of winning anything substantial the way they have now set these machines...You can walk around there for 8 hours and you wont find anyone winning really anything. As well many of the machines are shut down not just due to covid thats an excuse as whole sections of 3 or 4 beside each other are off limits..its worse at the old Casino..its like walking into Flamborough mid day no atmosphere mostly depressing to be honest. I found the covid screeners to be awesome at the front doors all over extremely nice but as far as the bar tender Sunday afternoon at the old casino he needs to get into another line of work. Hospitality is not his middle name . As far as the new blackjack game where you play on a electronic machine its picking your cards while an actual real dealer up front is dropping his cards stay away its a total rip off. It will empty your pockets in no time ..and as far as actually playing blackjack for real ..you are put in a glass sardine can with so much glass the dealer cant even hear you speak he has to yell...as well the tables have gone up in price substantially not even making it worth palying unless your a millionaire...ridiculous specially when you can go to the new casino head for the bar in the middle of the casino where they put all the couches and tables from the old bar that was at the back now put all of it completely around this bar in the middle where everyone now congregates ..wait in line for drinks ..people laying around watching the hockey game no masks ..and all the other bars are closed where you could get a drink quickly and stay self isolated...this makes no sense whatsoever...Adding insult to injury you go in lose 400 bucks gambling and then you have to leave and pay 35 dollars to park as you have to be a high roller spending thousands of dollars on a regular basis to enable you to get free parking. So folks the fun days and great atmosphere the last 20 to 30 years are now over its all about lining the pockets of this new group. This is why next election get Ford OUT hes just playing to these type of corporations. Update Oct 8th 2022.. lost 500 bucks at casino plus 128 bucks spent at bar and had to pay 40 bucks for parking upon...

We visited the casino today with our relative who is visiting canada. We all had physical ID and she is above 25+. So we told the security sorry we forgot her Passport but we can show you copy of the passport. We had copy of the passport and also copy of the canadian visa as well, the security at the gate said this passport might be altered !!! Hahahah i dont know how did he made this comment i told him also the canadian visa is altered????!!!! If you believe so please call the authorities to verify if it is altered or not, so i asked for the supervisor, and we thought the supervisor would be professional and respectful as this is how he should be to people just filing a complaint on the security gaurd at the gate, honestly yes we have read the rules and we told him ok we do understand guys but we came 1 hour drive to show her the casino and yes we forgot the passport but we can make a video call to one of the family members. Who can have access to the passport and we show it to you its original, the supervisor his name is Eric attached his ID, he left us talking to ourselved we called him we said we are not asking you to break the rules we are asking if possible to let her in take around and leave, he was so disrespectful and his behaviour as a supervisor honestly reflected bad image for who appointed him as supervisor, he needs to learn ethics, respect and most important communication with people, he could be professional and not turn his back to us and leave us talking to ourselves while we were explaining him nicely by the way we were not yelling or disrespecting him, we were asking him very nicely if possible to let her in as she is visiting the country. He was so rude and disrespectful and its shame to put supervisor who gave bad image on the organisation he represents. I told Him at least have a good and professional behaviour and respect to customers and we have a vistor at least show her good image of canadian, he said i dont care let her take bad image about canada. I wont judge the casino management because i know the casino management is highly professional people and we are proud to bring visitors who comes to canada to show them the casino and the falls, but people like Eric who reflect bad image on Canadians as well the customer service and professional and lack of communication. This guy has to learn being professional, respectful and communication skills as he is very weak on all those 3. I thought when he was talking to us he is the owner of the casino. Shame on him and the girl the visitor she said no one asked him to break the rules we asked him to be respectful were just asking him if possible. Hope the manager on this supervisor teach him how to be respectful to customers and this is tourism location he should care about being respectful to visitors and care about canada image and he indicated he doesn’t care, so eric if you dont care, go back to your...

Not my favorite anymore. Just feels tired and outdated. The slogan "Its just plain more fun" is lost and misrepresented. I think its time for a rebrand. the slogan has lived its life. Casino needs a new image. And a more presentable entrance. Doesn't have that "wow" factor. Actually when driving in you don't think your at the casino. Maybe a nice new sign in the front so you actually know your at the casino and not some random entrance.

Recently noticed the best "classic" games are being removed and replaced with the same type of games. Like how many link (or bat) games does a casino need? Don't you know that players will travel further to play the classic games!! removing the classic WMS games isn't a good decision by your casino director. I use to travel just to play those. Now I will continue one to Erie PA (where they still have a great selection). A good slots director knows that it's important to keep the Slot floor fresh (with a mix of new and old). And when games aren't generating revenue they should be fully checked (99.9% it's because they don't have working sound or buttons). Don't just pull them. Move them around. I'm pretty sure you could have gotten more life on those Bluebird 1s (Mermaids Gold/Goldfish). Those were FUN games to play.

Why doesn't the casino do more with the Slot Tournament area? it's always sitting empty and the games around that area seem to never get moved around. Maybe consider moving the Slot Tournament section down stairs and putting actual slots in the high visible area.

Since u kept the Mural cabinets (wonka) why not convert them to Journey to the Planet Moolah. Bet that game would be a hit!!

Here's an idea!! make an outdoor slot area like Fallsview. you have the room.

it would be nice to have a drink cart circling the casino floor (since the self serve beverage stations have been removed). You never seem to get drink service anymore. or better bring back the self-serve drink stations (woodbine has them). But I guess Mohegan rather save a penny.

For the love of god, stop announcing winners every hour. it's irrelevant and more annoying than ever. As a low level player hearing someone winning actually makes me want to leave.

I feel the lack of positive energy when I walk into this casino. It just doesn't feel like the happy place it once was. Lots of staff wondering around looking lost or bored.
