On our first visit to Niagara falls, we were craving for Indian food and reached out to this gem of a place for everything authentic Indian.

I must start by saying that a 4.9 by over a thousand people speaks for itself. Here is the summary of our experience there:

  1. Ambiance 3/5: This is probably the only sore that I have. The place has old drapes and the couches look like they are from the 60s. Even the entrance gate looks like a Dhaba which I think does disservice for the first impression of the place.

  2. Service 7/5: We went on a Friday night and this place was managed by our amazing server Rahul all by himself. Ofcourse, he had the help of a amazing server robot which would bring out food every now and then but kudos to Rahul for listening to all our request and helping my wife get non spicy recommendations. He was also nice enough to add additional rice and a little sweet for us for our take away food. The one request would be to have patience coz the service might not be the fastest but totally worth the wait.

  3. Food 6/5: The is the fun and the most amazing part with reminded me of India. So if you are missing India and want to remember it with every bite, you must visit this place. Here is the summary of everything we ordered:

a) Mango lassi: Perfect start to the dinner - The right amount of mango flavor, right amount of sweetness and thickness. This was delicious and refreshing.

b) Chicken lollipop: This is what brought me here. I had heard all the hype and boy it did not disappoint. The chicken was juicy and tender. We opted for the chili sauce which was less spicy than schezuan sauce but even then was really spicy for my wife.

c) Chicken Manchurian: Yet another winner dish with tender chicken. It tasted delicious and went well with the rice.

d) Peas rice: This was my only disappointment since the taste was not the best and felt like they sprinkled raw cumin powder over it.

e) Soya chaap masala: This will remind you of Delhi street. The perfect blend of all the spices. Amazing taste even on the next day. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of it.

  1. Value for money 5/5: Although it is not the cheapest, since we paid in USD, we felt it was okay but it might be a little costly for candians. I am not very sure so cannot comment for it. But for the taste you get, this is a small price to pay. This taste has been the best my wife has had of Indian food ever to awesome value for money.

Overall, if you ever want to taste authentic Indian food that reminds you of India, please do not go anywhere else and visit Balti for sure

The good:

  1. Chicken lollipiop
  2. Chicken Manchurian
  3. Soya Chaap
  4. Mango lassi
  5. Rahul's service

Not so good:

  1. The...

My recent visit to Balti Indian Restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. This establishment is undoubtedly one of the finest spots to gather with loved ones for an unforgettable dining experience.

The ambiance is inviting, with a perfect blend of traditional Nepalese and Chinese decor and modern touches. The soothing music added to the overall atmosphere, making it an ideal place to unwind and enjoy delicious cuisine.

The highlight of my visit was the impeccable service provided by the attentive staff. Not only were they polite and accommodating, but they also showcased an impressive knowledge of the menu. Special thanks to the chef for crafting dishes that transported me back to the flavors of my homeland. The authentic taste of Nepali, Indian, and Chinese cuisine at Balti Indian Restaurant is unparalleled.

What sets this restaurant apart is their innovative use of technology, including a robot server, which added a unique and futuristic touch to the dining experience.

Moreover, the cleanliness of the restaurant further enhanced my dining pleasure, ensuring a hygienic and comfortable environment.

I must commend the quick service, which ensured that our food arrived promptly, allowing us to savor every bite without delay.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Balti Indian Restaurant to anyone seeking a memorable culinary journey. Whether you’re craving authentic flavors, seeking a cozy atmosphere, or simply looking for excellent service, this establishment exceeds expectations on all fronts. I can’t wait to return for another delightful...

Awesome experience. Delicious food, superb service !!!

Today was a wonderful summer day, and we stopped for lunch. Their restaurant name with momo image was a big draw. This restaurant has a 5 car parking area on both sides in close proximity. The menu is extensive. Most impressive was that any food on the menu can be ordered,, there is Haka Chinese, Thai, Nepali, Indian, Desset, Beverages, appetizers, mains... We ordered our lunch Butter masala Veg momo's, Tandoori masala Veg momo's, Green Thai curry with fish, White basmati rice, Chilly chicken in semi dry gravy Schewan fried rice.

As we waited for our food, the restaurant surprised us and served us complimentary Naan & Hot & Sour Veg soup. On inquiry, I was informed that it was served to all patrons. The Naan and Soup were scrumptious. We loved it.

All the food we ordered arrived at a comfortable pace. It was beautifully plated and presented. Our server, a young girl, was very attentive and gave us the best service.

As we finished our lunch and packed our leftovers, we were served complimentary Kheer dessert...it was delicious

The best experience. All 5 stars !!! Food - Delicious Dessert- Delicious Service - The Best Restaurant- Old charm decor Accessibility- Spacious and wheel chair accessible. Parking - Two locations.

It was fun to watch the robot server bringing the food...

I've been hugely decieved in the past by high rankings and end up going to such restaurants and end up tasting food that totally disappoints. Balti is one restaurant, in a long time, where: - The ratings have been true to the food the restaurant served and the attentive service the people provided. - Restaurant with various Indian food types (Punjabi/Hakka) will end with one type shining and the other type being average or worse, terrible. Balti was an exception where they rocked both the hakka and the Punjabi foods. We ordered hot and sour soup, steamed veg momo's, cauliflower manchurian (dry), lamb chops, chicken malai tikka, butter chicken and butter naan. The hot and sour soup was excellent, the hakka fried rice was THE best hakka fried rice (outside India) & really good cauliflower 65 - then comes the surprisingly well prepared lamb chops and butter chicken. Overall - 5 stars for hakka and their Punjabi food items and top of the line service. Highly recommended & a definite revisit!

I had a mixed experience with the restaurant’s pick-up service. Although the estimated wait time was 20-25 minutes, my order wasn’t ready until 40 minutes later, so I’d suggest allowing for some extra buffer time if you're picking up. As for the food, the Veg Butter Momos with curry were outstanding—definitely the highlight of the meal. The Balti noodles were perfectly crispy as well. However, the Hakka noodles didn’t quite hit the mark, as they lacked the flavors I was expecting. One thing I found disappointing was being charged $1 for a small side of chili sauce. While I understand restaurants have policies, I’ve never encountered an additional charge for a condiment, especially when the whole meal was ordered at a medium spice level. The restaurant did reach out and offer to reimburse me, but I feel it's more about the principle than the dollar amount. And yes, for take out orders there is solid 10% discount
