On our first visit to Niagara falls, we were craving for Indian food and reached out to this gem of a place for everything authentic Indian.
I must start by saying that a 4.9 by over a thousand people speaks for itself. Here is the summary of our experience there:
Ambiance 3/5: This is probably the only sore that I have. The place has old drapes and the couches look like they are from the 60s. Even the entrance gate looks like a Dhaba which I think does disservice for the first impression of the place.
Service 7/5: We went on a Friday night and this place was managed by our amazing server Rahul all by himself. Ofcourse, he had the help of a amazing server robot which would bring out food every now and then but kudos to Rahul for listening to all our request and helping my wife get non spicy recommendations. He was also nice enough to add additional rice and a little sweet for us for our take away food. The one request would be to have patience coz the service might not be the fastest but totally worth the wait.
Food 6/5: The is the fun and the most amazing part with reminded me of India. So if you are missing India and want to remember it with every bite, you must visit this place. Here is the summary of everything we ordered:
a) Mango lassi: Perfect start to the dinner - The right amount of mango flavor, right amount of sweetness and thickness. This was delicious and refreshing.
b) Chicken lollipop: This is what brought me here. I had heard all the hype and boy it did not disappoint. The chicken was juicy and tender. We opted for the chili sauce which was less spicy than schezuan sauce but even then was really spicy for my wife.
c) Chicken Manchurian: Yet another winner dish with tender chicken. It tasted delicious and went well with the rice.
d) Peas rice: This was my only disappointment since the taste was not the best and felt like they sprinkled raw cumin powder over it.
e) Soya chaap masala: This will remind you of Delhi street. The perfect blend of all the spices. Amazing taste even on the next day. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of it.
Overall, if you ever want to taste authentic Indian food that reminds you of India, please do not go anywhere else and visit Balti for sure

Today was a wonderful summer day, and we stopped for lunch. Their restaurant name with momo image was a big draw. This restaurant has a 5 car parking area on both sides in close proximity. The menu is extensive. Most impressive was that any food on the menu can be ordered,, there is Haka Chinese, Thai, Nepali, Indian, Desset, Beverages, appetizers, mains... We ordered our lunch Butter masala Veg momo's, Tandoori masala Veg momo's, Green Thai curry with fish, White basmati rice, Chilly chicken in semi dry gravy Schewan fried rice.
As we waited for our food, the restaurant surprised us and served us complimentary Naan & Hot & Sour Veg soup. On inquiry, I was informed that it was served to all patrons. The Naan and Soup were scrumptious. We loved it.
All the food we ordered arrived at a comfortable pace. It was beautifully plated and presented. Our server, a young girl, was very attentive and gave us the best service.
As we finished our lunch and packed our leftovers, we were served complimentary Kheer dessert...it was delicious
