This is the perfect place to stay in Santiago. The apartments have everything you need and even though it's on a busy street the windows are well insulated against the noise. There is a toaster oven, electric kettle, small fridge, and a small stove, all very nice quality and good condition. There is also air conditioning in both the common area and the bedroom. It is walkable to everything, the metro is down the street, buses running constantly, and tons of shops and delicious restaurants all around. It's also a very safe area, walking back at 2am was no issue, (though, like any city, don't walk around distracted with your phone in your hand as it can be easily snatched). There are two mini markets just in front of the hotel that are both open late and carry anything you might need, from fresh bread, empanadas, and fruits to laundry detergent and other little necessities. A block over there is a 24 hour mini market as well, and Ubereats and pedidosya can deliver just about anything at just about any time. The hotel staff were all very friendly, helpful, and thoughtful, making it just a great experience overall. I will never stay anywhere else in Santiago, this is everything you could want with an amazing price on top of it. Highly...
Read moreI stayed at Orly Suites on-and-off for 3 weeks while working remotely seeing Chile. On weekends I would go away to nature sites (Atacama, Valle del Equi) and the staff would hold my bags and they would be back in my room when I returned to "check in". I work remotely so the fast WiFi was great and the fact that the apartment had a bedroom and separate living space made me feel like I was back home in my apt in NYC. The location is great as Providencia is the most cosmopolitan area of Santiago, great subway line, tons of shopping, fine dining, casual dining, and entertainment. Also Anita (the owner/operator) and her staff make you feel at home! Anita was super helpful when friends would come visit with access to a free parking garage down street guests have access to. Her and her staff made me feel like it was a true home away from home not a hotel stay. Highly recommend... and the beds and super comfy with "cool feel" sheets. AC & Heat in both rooms with remote control was also on point (which can be hard to find...
Read moreWe stayed at the Orly twice during our recent trip to Santiago. Based on just the rooms, I would have given it a high 4 star rating. The rooms were small but big enough, view toward the street was interesting and the rooms were well maintained. However, based on just the room itself, it was not a 5 star luxury quality hotel. I bumped my review to 5 stars because the public areas of the hotel were wonderful with places to sit and read, a great off street inside patio, a patio bar at the street which was great for people watching where you could sit for hours with a snack or just a cup of coffee and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Also, the hotel location is great. It is on a main street in the Providencia area of Santiago with many great restaurants, shops and things to do within a block or so of the hotel. For all these reasons, the Orly deserves a 5...
