We booked this cozy B&B for two nights - right before and after our W Circuit hike and we cannot be more thankful to the hospitality of the hosts! ||We had some hiccups in booking our bus from El Calafate to Puerto Natalas and we ended up taking the evening bus arriving in town at 10pm, and having to leave for the W circuit at early morning the next day. The owner, Rodrigo, was super kind and helpful in helping us to check in and giving us the directions where we could runs our much needed errands at late hours (ATM, quick-eat). He also reassured us that we could leave our luggages at the B&B during our hike and pay our rent when we get back. The next day we had to leave at 630am to catch the bus to the trail head, Rodrigo was up even earlier than us to feed us with breakfast and helped us to call a cab to the bus station. On our return stay, we also arrived late in town (10pm) and Gloria, Rodrigo’s wife was equally friendly and attentive, and understanding for our need for some much needed rest and allowed us for late breakfast and extended our check-out time. ||The room is spectacular - clean, spacious and warm (a real treat amid the chilly Patagonian wind outside). Bathroom is spotless and the strong pressure from the shower is the icing on the cake! ||Just a remark, since this is a family run B&B, we emailed Rodrigo ahead of time of our late arrival time just to make sure there is someone to answer the door, and it worked...
Read moreWe booked a private room for the night before we started the W in Torres del Paine and the night we got back. Both times, we arrived around 9:45pm, in need of dinner; our wonderful hosts let us leave our bags quickly, gave us restaurant recommendations, and let us fully check in and get settled once we'd eaten. Our room was really comfortable and clean, with a nice bathroom including a solid shower and toiletries (including conditioner!), and for breakfast, the spread included toast, jam, peanut butter, juices, and eggs they'd make on the spot. Additionally, we were able to store our "city stuff" while hiking in Torres, between our first and second stay. Our hosts also helped us call cabs and figure out some of the logistics of our Torres trip. And the location is great - just a couple blocks from the main plaza, and a quick ~$2-3 cab ride from the bus station. We would absolutely stay at this charming BnB again and were very glad to come back to it after...
Read moreMy family of 5 had a wonderful 2-night stay at this charming B&B, the best part of which was our host, Rodrigo. He went out of his way to make sure we had anything we needed, made delicious breakfasts, and even got us in at a very popular restaurant that doesn't take reservations. The place had a ridiculously long wait when we tried to go on our first evening in town and when we mentioned this to Rodrigo, he called the restaurant the next day and arranged for us to have a table for that evening which we really appreciated. He also allowed us, on the day we were checking out, to keep our keys and leave our luggage in the lobby so we could come back after our half-day excursion and use one of the rooms we'd occupied to shower and change before heading to the airport. The accommodations were comfortable and worked well for us, but the best part was the personal attention...
