The Music from Within Festival ended 10.12.2022 with iL Pomo d’Oro and Jakub Josef Orlinski. It was an eery yet magical night within the high walls. With the full moon shining and the occasional breeze, and the rich baroque instruments, and the passionate musicians, the evening soothed our souls. The angelic voice of Jakub very much touched our hearts. Thank you Tai Kwun for the intimate concert. The Prison Yard and all of Tai Kwun’s historical buildings are free to visit.

Recently restored with a visit if you are in town. From here you can visit the art Museum just above the Prison Yard and lately take a walk in the nearby Sheung Wan or Central area. You can also have lunch in one of the restaurant in the prison square (I tried Claudel restaurant and it was good)
