Grand Bells Bed and Bells, Zagreb — Hotel in City of Zagreb

A central clean located hotel, in the upper part of the City of Zagreb. Close to all departmental retail shops, lots of good eateries , efficient public transport . within the old town the facades of the old buildings are a sight not to be missed . At the moment there is a catholic church which is undergoing a total revamp ,the church steeples are completely covered with scaffolding. I learnt that the total facade has a height of 110 metres. The choice of our chosen was a excellent choice from the reception ladies extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast very good and more than adequate. Bed comfortable and fluffy pillows. We have stayed here in August 2024. The accommodation was good, the bathroom a little small and could use another shelf or some hooks. The room was well appointed and comfortable, refrigerator in the common room, and there is a hair dryer. Lots of plugs in smart places for charging. Laundry is available if you ask. The location is superb, and they provide parking if you have a car. Good grocery about 5 minutes walking. The hosts are absolutely beautiful people, always with a cheery greeting and willing to help. The location is perfect,cabout 200 m from the main Cathedral. And 300 m the other way is the perfect Bornstein wine bar. The rooms are fine, mainly basic and functional. Don't expect anything fancy. Bathrooms are fine (don't try to use it with two people at the same time :-) ). Breakfast is basic. But she will make you eggs for breakfast. No complains, even better I would recommend it to anybody. There is just one flight of stairs...
