Guest House Luka — Hotel in Dubrovnik

Not a Fair Place - I stayed in this place in September and, despite the reservation stating I would have a private room with a bathroom, when I got into this guest house, this was NOT the case. I had just had an operation and I paid more on this specific place because I thought I would have a private room with a private bathroom - which was necessary because of my condition. Anyway, when I was there, I also had 3 cold showers and the owner kept promising she was going to fix it. When I complained about these two issues she said she was sorry and she was going to send part of the money back to me and, of course, she NEVER, did. So, I do not recommend this. Excellent location, surgically clean, very attentive host (Kate) who gave us excellent information and kept the house very clean. This row house is 3 floors with one residential room on each floor and a shared bathroom and kitchen on the ground level. As with any place in The Old Town pack light and expect to go up and down lots of stairs with your luggage. Also If you are elderly, or out of shape this is not for you because you have to go up and down several sets of stairs to go to the bathroom. However this will occur wherever you stay in Old Town. Met with the landlord at the agreed upon time. She was really helpfull and gave us some tips and info about Old Town. The guest house goes up 3 floors each with a separate room for rent. Ground floor contains a kitchen and bathroom both of which are shared between the 3 rooms. The room standard was good and with functioning AC and a TV. All in all a great place to stay the night if you want a place with two separate beds. Again the landlord was very helpfull and even let us keep the bags in the common room after checkout (10:00) and come pick it up before our flight...
