Hedera Estate, Hedera A1 — Hotel in Dubrovnik

I'm a bit confused by the bad reviews for Hedera Estate. We booked an apartment for 3 nights in Dubrovnik and a house on Koločep for 9 nights. From the initial enquiry stage, to booking, right through to the duration of our visit, all staff were quick to respond and incredibly friendly and polite - in perfect English.

The apartment was good value for money. A microwave and a kettle would have been really useful but we coped. The house on Koločep was fantastic; perfect for a family holiday. The only major issue was the incredibly loud music and singing from the adjacent bar almost every night until 3am. It definitely would affect us returning, which is a shame as the house is beautiful and the owner lovely.

We organised a transfer from Dubrovnik (Hedera will keep your luggage if you have a later flight) which was good value. The driver was polite and professional. One of the rear seat belts didn't work which was a bit concerning. Overall, not quite 5 stars, but not far off.

Rooms were clean and well equipped. Bathrooms were very well equipped with a bidet and great water pressure. The kitchen was fully equipped and it was easy to make simple dinner. White appliances also included. There was a blacony with a great view and a front patio as well to have your coffee of the balcony is too sunny. The house had a jacuzzi as well.

Service was great, no complaints.

Location is ok as it is on top of the hills. You will need a can to get to the old town or otherwise it's 25 easy downhill walk. There are supermarkets and...

Hôtel à fuir si vous ne voulez pas être réveillé à 6H30 par la mise en place irrespectueuse de la terrasse ( 23H ET 6H30 du matin ) Les chaises et les tables sont trainée au sol, c'est une catastrophe car cela resonne dans tout l'hôtel, à cela vous rajoutez un atelier de soudure juste en dessous, plus une belle route passante , Sol de l'appartement même pas lavé correctement et remontée d'odeur d'égout dans la salle d eau . Pas de Clim dans la chambre donc compliqué en vue de la chaleur sinon l'appartement en lui même est bien mais vraiment...
