Terrible experience. I have been traveling Europe for more than 3 months already and i can gurantee that this place was one of the lowest quality of all. First of all, extremely small space for room. There isn't even enough space to open the luggage so we had quite a big difficulty managing our stuff.
Second of all, the whole house is really old and there is absolute no noise cancelling system among the walls, which means you can hear exactly what people in other rooms say. Extremely distressful at night.
Third of all, you have to share the only one bathroom and there are 3 rooms(guessing 6people of total). So in the morning and night which is a quite busy period of time, you would have to wait for your turn. By the way, the bathroom is located so high up that you have to climb the steep stairs.
Fourth of all, good location but tremendously high steep of stairs. You would have to carry your luggages to such a high place without the help of elevators.

Read moreIt's OK. The old lady taking care of the place is nice. She can't speak English but we managed to understand each other ok with most things. The place is in a great location up a pretty mean set of stairs off a busy main road. The room was fine and has aircon which is great but had separate beds and no view of anything since the window is so high up. We didn't realise there is a shared bathroom. Also a shared small fridge for 3 rooms which was full by the time we got there. No cutlery or crockery or anything to cook with which wad tough since food in the city is expensive wheb eating out. I did ask the lady for a plate and knife one evening. All in all - not great but also not bad. The view over the city one the veranda...
Read moreYes, I do agree that we dread the climb up the stairs every time we got back. But, to be fair, that’s how the whole city is laid out. So, unless you want to pay the premium for a 5 Star hotel, be prepared to take hikes everywhere you go in this city.
We had a good time, the owner is very kind and fed us cookies, cakes and juice every time we came back. The coffee and tea is on the house too. So, all in all, a good...
