Guest House Marijana — Hotel in Dubrovnik

DONT BOOK THIS PLACE! Owner is inconsiderate money hungry!! Too many stairs. Check put Epidaurus instead. We love that place

I booked this more than a month ago! Only to find out the date was wrong and contacted them right away mind you the date is one month away! If they have availability when we arrived in Dubrovnik we wouldn’t have to cancel.

They dont wanna refund me they keep the whole 3nights stay even tho it was an honest mistake. We are also host but never ever we keep people’s money because we know things can happened out of control regardless of our cancellation policy. We always refund travelers.

I also work in hotel industry which we always kept the first night of the stay and refund the rest but again this booking was one month away. Did not try to cancel the day before but one month away.

We never cancel any reservation in the past and we are well travelled couple.

A month away reservation they could easily book their place even if they kept our one or two nights and just refund us for one night!

We even went to their property to try to talk to them in person that we mistakenly put a wrong dates September instead of August on our reservation but no one was around!

We were glad we didn’t stay at this location. We were happy we found a place in the center.

I hope that keeping my money helps you financially. As my other host in Epidaurus have said $200+ is not much money in dubrovnik to be kept when it’s not even yours in the...

Достоинства:||Неплохой небольшой отель в частном доме с гостеприимной хозяйкой Марьяной. В комнате санузел с душем, кондиционер, чайник с посудой. Полотенца, фен, принадлежности имеются. Чисто. В общей прихожей холодильник, которым можно пользоваться. Перед входом в дом небольшая терраска.||Удобное расположение. До ворот Пиле в исторический центр Дубровника 10 - 15 мин. Недалеко имеется небольшой и очень уютный пляжик. Самое главное - без толкучки. Марьяна дает пляжные полотенца.||||Недостатки:||Во - первых, как и везде в Дубровнике, лестницы, поскольку город стоит на склоне гор. Довольно крутые и длинные. До гостевого дома Марьяны две лестницы. По одной заезжаешь в отель - примерно 200 ступеней и потом немного спускаешься во двор. И вторая, внутри из двора через внутреннию калитку, ключ от которой дает Марьяна, около 100 ступеней. На самом деле эта калитка при мне ни разу не запиралась. Поэтому можно было и первый раз подниматься по этой лестнице. Марьяна когда объясняет как дойти с автобусной остановки ссылается на лестницу под указателем Istarska ulica, но это длинная лестница, а правее лестница под указателем 20 (это номер дома) короткая лестница (относительно короткая). По ней заходишь через калитку во двор соседей ниже, а слева еще небольшая лестница до террасы Марьяны. В любом случае, эти лестницы требуют физической формы. Особенно с вещами наперевес.||Во-вторых, как и везде в Дубровнике, дороговато. Но в Дубровнике все...

The staff is very helpful and once you were able to find it everything will be alright. It is recomended to stay only 2 or 3 days, more than that you will be very tired because of the stairs to get there daily after walking as tourists.||||I've read the reviews that it would be hard to find it. I've received an email from the staff giving me directions about how to find it. I had GPS. Despite of all I really found very very hard to find it!!!! Yes, it is very hard...
