Malena Palace Experience, Split — Hotel in Grad Split

A lovely room, in a beautiful city, run by an amazing lady 😊

We loved each moment our stay with Malena. The rooms were clean and fresh, and had a beautiful view of the temple and clock tower. The room was air conditioned and had a fridge to keep any drinks and food cool for the next day. The bedding was also very comfortable. There is an added bonus of an upstairs terrace with the most gorgeous views of the city and was matched with some homemade lemonade 🍋

However, the main charm of this place is the lady that runs it, Malena. She gave us lots of great suggestions of what to see and do whilst staying in Split and even got us a Split Card which gave us free or discounted entry to a lot of local attractions! One of our favourite recommendations was the walk around the Forest Park Marjan which gave us a great view of the city and had amazing wildlife to see! Nothing was too much for Malena, and you could tell she genuinely cared for us whilst staying with her. She is the true selling point of this place!

Would strongly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Split and we hope to come back soon!

The property is not easy to find. Fortunately, one of the local tour guides inside the palace gave me some directions, and I made the slog up the three or four flights of stairs to the room.||The actual location is good, close to all the main sites and places to eat. The room was very clean and comfortable with hardwood floors and a mini-fridge.||The best thing about the property is the owner Malena. She is super friendly and helpful and will even do some laundry for you if you ask her.||I do have to say though that having to go up and down all those flights of stairs every time you want to go out gets a bit tiring, especially for someone who is as out of shape as I am. This is absolutely not for someone who has any kind of mobility issues. For anyone else, though, who is in halfway decent shape, this is an option well worth...

A haven of tranquility in the middle of the city. You are at the doorstep of all the major attractions, yet you feel like you are in a bubble.|The very spacious rooms are spotless clean and the en-suite bathrooms are equipped with powerful showers. They all have an hair dryer. |There's a lovely balcony upstairs from where you have outstanding views while soaking up the sun. |Lots of restaurants downstairs and close by that cater for all budgets, and there is a supermarket a few streets away. |The host is lovely and will ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible.
