Visited begin of November as couple. Service nice, dishes perfect. Good for couples and families. We ordered from their sessional special menu. 1x pork filet steak with pumpkin porridge and grilled vegetables, 1x mixed grill plate of sea food and 1x grilled bread with garlic and herbs. For drinks 1x ginger ale and 1x orange juice.
The service at the restaurant was exceptional. The staff members were friendly and accommodating, and what impressed us the most was their ability to speak a variety of languages. They struck the right balance between being attentive without being overbearing, ensuring that we were well taken care of throughout our meal. The drinks were served promptly, while the main dishes did take a bit of time to arrive. (4/5)
The pork filet steak was an absolute winner. It was cooked to perfection, with the meat being incredibly tender and nearly melting in our mouths. The pairing with pumpkin porridge was a unique twist, and we were pleasantly surprised by its good consistency and precisely balanced seasoning. The grilled vegetables hidden under the pork filet were a delightful surprise, and they retained their warmth for an extended period, which added to the overall enjoyment of the dish. (5/5)
The mixed grill plate of sea food was equally impressive. The timing of the grilling was spot on; nothing was overcooked or burned, and each seafood item was perfectly grilled through. We particularly appreciated the recommendation to add a few lemon drops to the fish, as it brought out a delightful hint of sourness that elevated the flavors even further. (5/5) Complementing the main dishes was the grilled bread with garlic and herbs, which was a crunchy delight. It was evident that the chef had mastered the art of grilling, as each dish showcased a perfect balance of flavors and textures.
The restaurant's ambience added to the overall dining experience. The classic setting, adorned with subtle decorations hinting at the sea or ocean, created a calming and serene atmosphere. It's an ideal place for private gatherings, whether it be a romantic dinner for couples or a meal with family members. (5/5)
All in all, the chef deserves high praise for the way they managed the grill. The timing and heat levels were executed with precision, resulting in extraordinary dishes that left a lasting impression on our palates. We left the restaurant feeling satisfied and impressed. (4+5+5+5)/4 ...

We have stayed 2 nights at the Rango Hotel.
I was looking fora Hotel for a while since there is a lot of hotel offer in the city of Pilsen. I wanted to book the room directly and not through Reservation Channel, so I send the email. In 10 minutes I had the reservation done. Our reservation has been made by Anna, whom I thank very much for her concern and good service. We had a very nice room with views to the city. The atmosphere in the Hotel is very good, everyone is very friendly and speaks English very well (in the city too). Upon arrival we have been received by the Receptionist, I think his name is Peter. He has accompanied us to the parking lot, very professional. He was very helpful with the tourism information. Well, the Hotel has a Restaurant with the highest cuisine. Great atmosphere/decoration, very delicious food and very professional and friendly waiters and cooks.
If we come back to Pilsen we will stay at Rango Hotel and we will recommended to our family and friends.
Thank you Rango Hotel and Restaurant Team. You are doing a great job (but I think you know that...
Read moreFor starters, we stood at the sign for 10 minutes, and no one came to seat us. We took a table, and it was a while before the server came. I asked for tap water, and he said they don't have tap water, so they must not clean the dishes? I refuse to drink bottled water in a country with safe tap water. Clearly, they don't care about the planet. He lost a tip from me because of that.I didn't get any drinks, a mistake with nothing to wash down the food. I wish i decided to get nothing. The lasagne was bland, I have had better frozen lasagne. The food is overpriced. I poured the table oil on my fork to taste it before putting it on the food. It had no flavor, likely olive pomace oil, and not finishing oil. I don't know how reviews say real Italian food. People must not have had italian food. My friend's pasta did not look appetizing, and with the oil they have on the table and an oil based pasta, I assume also bland. The only good thing was that I learned...
