Memorable Stay in Prague ✨ Service & Hospitality The hotel operates at a high level of customer service 🙌. Staff were professional, friendly, and always attentive to details, which made me feel truly cared for throughout my stay. 🧼 Cleanliness & Comfort The rooms and common areas were spotless and tidy, maintained to the highest standards. It felt welcoming, relaxing, and very comfortable. 📍 Location Ideally situated in the heart of Prague’s Old Town 🏰—just walking distance to major attractions, souvenir shops, restaurants, shopping streets, and lively pubs 🍻. A perfect base for exploring the city on foot. 🥐 Breakfast Buffet Each morning started with a delicious and varied breakfast buffet 🍳🥐☕. Great selection and quality, the ideal energy boost before sightseeing. 🎶 Unique Experience One of the highlights was the Mozart Dinner in the stunning Boccaccio Theatre & Ballroom 🎻🍽️—a dining experience I will never forget. 🍾 Special Birthday Surprise On my birthday, the staff went above and beyond by leaving a personalized greeting card and complimentary Prosecco in my room 🥂—a thoughtful gesture that made my stay extra special. 💡 Overall Grand Hotel Bohemia perfectly blends comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Prague! 🌟

My wife and I along with our children got to spend two days here at the end our European trip. The location of the hotel is perfect! The staff from the front desk, restaurant and bar all took amazing care of you. It was like something out of a different age. I would stay here anytime I get the chance to come back!! The city along with their history and people have to be experienced!! Now one of my all time favorite place to have been!! Picture was from our terrace!!

Grant Hotel Bohemia in Prague is a hidden gem that offers a blend of classic charm and modern comfort, making it an excellent choice for both leisure and business travelers. Located in the heart of Prague, it provides easy access to the city's iconic attractions, such as the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge, which are just a short walk away.

Ambiance and Design: The hotel boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere with its elegant, traditional design elements that reflect the rich history of Prague. The lobby is stylishly furnished, creating a welcoming first impression. The rooms, though not overly spacious, are well-appointed with comfortable beds, high-quality linens, and tasteful decor that combines contemporary touches with a nod to the city's past.

Service and Staff: One of the standout features of Grant Hotel Bohemia is its exceptional service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. From the front desk to housekeeping, the service is consistently professional and courteous. English proficiency among the staff is excellent, making communication smooth and hassle-free.

Amenities: The hotel offers a good range of amenities, including free Wi-Fi, a well-equipped fitness center, and a cozy bar. The breakfast buffet is diverse and caters to different tastes, offering a mix of local and international options. While the hotel does not have a full-service restaurant, there are plenty of dining options nearby, and the staff is more than happy to provide recommendations.

Rooms: Rooms at Grant Hotel Bohemia are clean, comfortable, and quiet, despite the hotel's central location. The en-suite bathrooms are modern and well-maintained, featuring all the necessary amenities. Some rooms offer stunning views of the city's rooftops and historic buildings, adding to the overall charm of the stay.

Location: The hotel's location is unbeatable for those looking to explore Prague's main attractions on foot. Public transportation is also easily accessible, with a metro station just a few minutes away. Despite its central location, the hotel is situated on a relatively quiet street, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.

Value for Money: Grant Hotel Bohemia offers good value for money, especially considering its prime location and the quality of service provided. While it may not have the extensive facilities of a luxury hotel, it more than makes up for it with its charm, comfort, and excellent service.

Final Thoughts: Overall, Grant Hotel Bohemia is a fantastic choice for visitors looking to experience the best of Prague without breaking the bank. Its combination of location, service, and comfort makes it a solid option for anyone visiting this beautiful city. A few minor improvements, such as more dining options and slightly larger rooms, could elevate it further, but it already stands as a highly recommended place to...

My wife and I stayed at the Grand Hotel Bohemia for a week in early July 2017. I need to be clear, that we didn't stay in the hotel proper. The hotel owns some apartments that are position just over the road from the main hotel building, and we stayed in one of those.

The apartments are fully self-contained with full kitchen and laundry facilities provided. The rooms are new and pretty big by European standards. The rooms are serviced only once per week, which was fine by us, but it's important to realise that these apartments are not going to be serviced every day. I believe that you can request more frequent servicing, but that this costs extra.

One the plus side, everything in the apartment was new and in good working condition. Wifi was free, easy, and fast. The apartment is superbly located within walking distance of almost all of Prague's main attractions, including Wenceslas Square, and the Old Town Square. I also walked to both Prague Castle and Petrin Hill from the apartment, but that took a little longer.

Residents at the apartment can make use of the hotel facilities. The breakfast at this hotel is excellent, offering both buffet and a la carte options. Staff at the hotel are young, helpful, friendly, and speak English well. I felt that the rate was reasonable, given the position of the hotel, and comparable rates throughout the city.

On the downside, the apartments are not air conditioned. As with a lot of accommodation in Europe, it was superbly set up to keep you warm, but hopeless at keeping you cool, and we were there on some pretty warm days. The bedroom is small (although the bed itself if comfortable), and there is limited storage space. Also, the downside of being so centrally located is that tribes of young folk would regularly walk past our window in the small hours making one hell of a racket! That's not the hotel's fault, of course, but it's worth taking note of. Finally, you only get one set of keys, which can be inconvenient when you are heading off in different directions.

With these caveats in mind, I would encourage you to consider the Grand Hotel Bohemia on your next...

Grand Hotel Bohemia – Totally Worth It

In short—this place is a gem!

First off, the location is perfect. Just a few minutes’ walk to the Old Town, the Astronomical Clock, and the Powder Tower. Super easy to explore the city from here.

The hotel itself is all about classic European charm—no modern trendy vibes, just timeless elegance. The decor, the piano in the lobby, the dining room setup, even the cutlery—it’s got that old-school class that I love.

The service? Amazing. The staff is super friendly, speaks great English, and always happy to help. They were super attentive, granted all our requests, and even took care of the little things—like surprising us with chocolates after check-out.

We stayed in a junior suite, and it was huge (by European standards). Comfy bed, big windows, and a tiny balcony with a killer view of Týnský chrám and Pražský hrad. Waking up to church bells instead of a phone alarm? Priceless.

Everything was spotless the whole stay. If I had to nitpick, the bathroom felt a bit old-school (no walk-in shower), and the water pressure was weak—maybe because we were on a high floor. But honestly, not a big deal.

Breakfast was top-notch—great buffet and à la carte options, and the service was just as awesome.

Bottom line: Highly recommend. I usually don’t stay at the same hotel twice, but this one? I’m...
