I loved this hotel experience. Hotel Paris is located within Old Town Prague. Right outside your door is an endless variety of shops, food, sights, and other services.||After having walked with my luggage from the train station (note to others - do not ever do this with luggage) I arrived at the hotel exhausted. The doormen immediately helped my wife and I with all our bags and we were able to easily check in. Luggage was brought to our room for us and one of the doormen showed us around the room explaining how everything worked. This was quite helpful as the door was a little tricky to learn how to lock and open using the very old style key.||The room was roughly standard size for Europe, but had enough space for luggage and to be quite comfortable. Air conditioning was helpful with the unusually warm weather for September. And this hotel is pet friendly so we were welcomed with our two cats we had along. We had a beautiful view of the city out our window and a very teeny tiny little balcony. We didn't use this for the safety of our pets but one person could have stood outside to admire the view. The bed was mostly comfortable and lighting was quite good. The one issue was there was no refrigerator for our use, it was solely a minibar.||The staff was incredibly friendly. There were always welcoming smiles as we came and went from the hotel and they always asked if there was anything we needed. A request for an extra blanket and pillows was quickly met. I'm sure if there had been anything else we asked for they would have done their best to help.||Breakfast was included in our room rate but we were so busy we just didn't have time to visit the restaurant. We did stop by for some evening desserts after spending our day walking around and took them to our room. They were absolutely delicious. If I can return someday to the hotel I would like to try the restaurant.||The ambience of the hotel is really very special. Elevators were in the older style and hidden behind a door at each floor. So this kept them very quiet and you couldn't hear their operation in the rooms. However the elevators are quite small. Let the doormen/bellmen help you with your luggage.||Highly recommend this hotel. It was one of the highlights of our...
Read moreMy wife and I were guests for five nights. We ordered separate rooms because I had to do research at night during the trip. The hotel is expensive but has good standards service of reception, restaurant, cafe. Some comments and things that bothered us just for improvement in the future:
There are advantages to taking a larger room but not because of the view of the Tin Church as it is presented on the site. The church can also be seen from other rooms in the hotel and very well. a large room in the high floor does not have a balcony.
The water pressure was weak in the room I was in, it was not pleasant to take a shower.
The bed was on one side tilted diagonally, it was impossible to sleep there. Luckily I slept alone, so I just slept on the other side of the bed, but the couple could have trouble with it.
The chambermaid is not very attentive to requests. I asked for another toilet paper, she brought once after several requests from the reception desk and never again in the other days (even took the spare toilet paper). I asked for a sheet, she brought it, but the next day it was gone. Should not characterize a hotel of this level.
for summery, this is a good hotel and we will probably go back to it but there are some important highlights for the improvement and attention of those...
Read moreStaying at Hotel Paříž Praha felt like stepping straight into a royal painting. From the very first moment I walked through the beautifully detailed Art Nouveau entrance, the colorful mosaic arch, the golden lettering, the red carpet 😍 it set the tone for something truly exceptional.
Inside, everything breathes old-world charm and sophistication. The interiors are a masterpiece of European elegance: high ceilings, ornate chandeliers, polished wood, and artistic touches everywhere. You don’t just stay here — you experience living history blended with modern comfort.
The staff were warm smiles, flawless service, and that perfect Czech touch of professionalism with personality. Breakfast was delightful, and the live piano music in the evening made the atmosphere feel magical — like you were having coffee in a royal salon.
What I loved most is how the hotel captures the spirit of Prague itself artistic, grand, and timeless. It’s not just luxurious; it’s poetic. I’ve stayed in many luxury hotels, but Hotel Paříž stands out for its soul. Every corner tells a story.
If you want to feel like European royalty for a few days, this is the place. A true five-star gem in the...
