This is a charming hotel. It is located in the Vinhorady neighborhood and conveniently located nearby multiple tram stops as well as the Namesti Miru metro station. I had the most beautiful view from my room on the 5th floor. There is a school that is on the other side of the courtyard but this was never any issue. It was very quiet both in the hotel and outside. The front door locks so it is also secure. The neighborhood is more residential and not slammed with tourists which is a huge plus for me. Walking distance to many restaurants, mini marts, Drogerie and parks. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the smell of the soap in the bathroom. My room came equipped with a mini fridge, safe, heated towel rack, coffee/tea, hair dryer. The front desk staff is also very friendly and kind. It feels like you are staying right at home while being away. I didn’t partake in the breakfast but it is available until 10am. The desk closes at 9pm and after that, you are to contact another hotel for assistance or to check in. Visitors should note that and arrange for a late arrival with the hotel beforehand. And, there is an elevator! But note there is one set of stairs to the front entrance once going through the door.

Small charming hotel. Not very close to the center, about 25 min walking. The problem with our room was that it looked to the high school next door and it was noisy during the day, but fortunately at night it was really good. There is a lift in the hotel! What a relief - you don't have to climb with heavy suitcases! Rooms are not big, but comfortable - small fridge, electric kettle, wardrobe, desk and chair. The furniture is in a nice vintage style as well as windows, stairs, and lamps. Breakfast is included. Nice variety of food. Nice hall for eating, actually it was some sort of winter garden with plenty of light. The staff was friendly and helpful, just ask them. Now there's some negatives. The nearest metro station has no lifts, no escalators - nothing, but stairs, so you don't have any other chance than dragging luggage up and down. In addition streets and even pedestrian zones are... with cobblestone!!! They damage wheels on your suitcases.

Fantastic experience: spacious room, comfortable bed, friendly staff and a charming building in a great location. BUT I would give negative feedback on the hotel's transparency around handling customer data. Whenever you choose to book and pay in advance, you enter your personal data and your bank card data in the booking form only to find out one day later that your booking was not paid at all. Before you start thinking about why they needed your bank card data then, the staff sends you a link via e-mail(!) to complete the payment, saying otherwise your booking will be deleted. Sounds problematic and not very transparent when it comes to handling your sensitive data? I would say so. I asked the hotel what is the purpose of asking for the bank card details but nor have I received any answers to my question, nor regarding the policies of how they handle sensitive data, nor what is this data used for.

Hotel Anna is a charming hotel about 1.5km SE of Wenceslas Square. The neighborhood is perfect as it's mainly residential - so it's quiet enough that you can keep your windows open all night - but there are also plenty of 4* + rated restaurants and bars within a 10 min walk. And with the Namesti Miru metro station only 5 mins walk away you can be at Charles Bridge within 15 mins, or half an hour by foot (downhill) through the heart of the Old Town. The hotel itself is set in a traditional Czech townhouse. The inside door is 10 steps up from street level so not wheelchair friendly and not perfect for heavy bags, but once inside there is a small lift connecting all the floors. A small reception is at the top of the steps & manned until 11pm and the staff - as with nearly all hospitality staff in Prague - are friendly, knowledgeable and fluent in English. The room, while nothing special, was clean with a TV, room safe, wardrobe and comfortable beds. The spacious ensuite was also clean and had a nice powerful shower. The price of the room comes with a buffet style continental breakfast until 10am which was constantly being replenished. Set in the Winter Garden conservatory at the back, there aren't fantastic views to be had but the the beautiful weather we had during our time in Prague meant we got to enjoy breakfast in the sun. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hotel Anna to any friends visiting Prague - especially a couple's getaway - and with rooms from £50 per night it's hard to fault it...

This hotel was amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone considering going to Prague! The room had everything you needed (multiple towels, body wash, TV, safe, hairdryer, wardrobe etc). The room was absolutely spotless and was cleaned daily. It was a lovely, quiet hotel with many rooms to choose from. I stayed in a Standard Double/Twin room, which was perfect for the size and money I paid through Expedia! The hotel is perfectly situated in Prague (not too close to the town that is was loud and busy, but far enough away that you couldn't hear cars/trams). There is a tram line two roads away which makes easy access to the Old Town if necessary. The hotel is a 30-minute walk to the Old Town, with lovely scenery/restaurants if you don't want to get on the tram. I ordered a taxi service through the hotel, which picked me up from the Prague airport to the hotel and cost me 750 CZK, around £25 for a 30-45 minute drive! The reception was very helpful at answering any questions we had and was able to book anything we wanted to do during our stay. The breakfast buffet was lovely and operated between the hours of 7:30 am - 10:00 am, with a wide selection of food and drinks for everyone!

I definitely recommend to anyone...
