Nice little place. Very good reviews, that was one of the reason to visit. I love good food and little places all over the world, everything inside looks friendly and you see the people who work there do care about the place running.

Now about food: It’s hard to mess up a sandwich (whether it’s a baguette or panini, doesn’t matter what you call it), but I couldn’t even finish mine — it was a very mediocre sandwich: slightly burnt, and the ingredients and overall flavor left much to be desired.

The coffee was okay — can’t really judge that since everyone has different tastes. The chai latte, however, was quite mediocre.

The pancakes were actually not bad — the only dish we managed to finish, although even there, the flavor combinations raised some questions. Maybe that’s why the place is popular.

As for basic requests like napkins or a juice order — they were simply forgotten. Probably too many customers to keep up with. So I left without getting my juice.

All in all, I definitely wouldn’t come back or recommend this place...

Great lunch options with fresh and original ingredients. Both the food and the place itself are tasteful. It feels like sitting in a living room of your friends who are taking care of you ;-). 3 months ago I would have given 5 stars but took one away as motivation for the owners to bring back the big tea pots they had. The tea is great but I loved the bigger size and the sipping :-). Give it a try, I'm sure you'll love the relaxed atmosphere and especially the personnel who obviously seem to enjoy what they do .... P.S. promise to add the 1 star when my recommendation can be considered ;-). Added 8.9.2020 : based on reaction from the the bistro/cafe I added 1 star :-). My remark about the tea was not meant as a Dutch reaction about the exact amount of tea but if my memory serves me well I received one time a bigger tea pot but perhaps this was because the others were in use and this was an emergency option :-). Thanks for the reaction,...

Americans with Celiac disease!! This place is for us. The pancakes are gluten free by default and VERY delicious, coming with berries, nuts, and sweet cottage cheese. You can substitute just about anything on the menu with a gluten free option, they also have ciders to drink! The staff speaks very good English and are aware of gluten allergies.

Definitely come here if you have celiac disease and are looking for a great gluten free breakfast.

Additionally, the coffee here is to die for. I’m a Firefighter back home and I drink a lot of coffee, we all do, so everywhere I go I like to try a cup. This is by far some of the best coffee I have ever tasted, and you can also buy it from there as well! The coffee I had was called Kenya. It was delicious.

The venue is really small but I promise you it’s worth the wait!

5 stars and will be back next time I...

I was led here by the high rating, fair number of reviews, and a promise of one of the best breakfasts in Prague. Sadly I must admit I was a little disappointed. Though it was thoroughly 'instagrammable' (if that is even a word) the food was ok, and by that I really do mean just ok. This is due to the fairly odd combination of food available which, whilst interesting, doesn't quite achieve the desired effect. As expected the place was busy on a Saturday morning for brunch and the staff did seem to struggle a little with the demands of being at capacity. That is despite four members of staff being present. All in all you can see that this place wants to deliver quality and the ingredients used are obviously good! It just seems that a few tweaks to how the service is run would make a world of improvements and hopefully help this place live up to its hype.

This is a lovely, frugally set up little place with a young crowd and smiling young staff. The place is so tiny (it seats about 15) that they have waiting chairs outside the door. And those are needed: While we were waiting in line - about 10 minutes - eight more people wanted to get in. The setup is cheap, but the details show a playful spirit and great love for the task: note the wrapping of the cutlery and the herb-infused water. I tried the cold brew with orange juice - certainly a new and refreshing experience. The pancakes: rich, fruity and delicious; the breakfast called "brunch" was just as tasty but it didn't live up to our expectation of being filling, as well. Since there was always a lineup, it didn't feel right to stay longer than necessary, which cut short our breakfast experience and made our morning a bit rushed. I hope they can expand soon!
