Lasagneria — Restaurant in Prague

It breaks my heart to write a not so pleasant review but I’m getting more and more disappointed by this place. I started going here because they prepare gluten and lactose free options. For some reason you cannot order it and have it delivered which I don’t understand why, you have to either call and pick it up yourself or order in person and wait (either way it’s around 45 mins wait). I tried to order once via app, they just canceled without explanation. Later I called, asked why they declined and learnt that they don’t accept these GF orders via delivery service. Once I called 1,5 hours before closing time and they said it was too late to prepare GF version (bare in mind they usually say it’s 45-50 mins preparation time and I told them I was 10 mins walks away from them and I wanted take away). And yesterday we go there, we order, we agreed we would come back in 45 mins and when we arrive back they say that they actually ran out of GF pasta so if I still wanted it, they would go and get new batch in 10-15 mins and again additional 45 mins for preparation. We already waited a long time and we were hungry so we ended up leaving and eating next door. I like the food but I’m not sure I need this hustle again. Hope they...

Good variety of lasagnas and the quality is quite good, even if not top. I would suggest to further experiment new lasagnas before giving them because some of the ingredients do not really combine good in the lasagna. Generally speaking, the quality of food is to be recommended but I do not feel like giving 3 stars because the service is insufficient (despite waitresses are super kind). More than once i found the table dirty with oil from previous lasagnas and, in several occasions I had to ask for the table to be cleaned (in some cases, this was not done even if noticed by the waiter/waitress or after the customer had sat). In some cases I waited a lot to get the food (30 minutes for a lasagna to be heated up seems a bit too much for me, especially when other customers, even those who got in after me, had their food ready. To be noted that the place was not busy at all. they did not even notice it because I had to go tell them and they actually told me they had forgotten it in the oven). Last but not least, the toilets: it seems like these never get cleaned. I never found any soap and the sanitary itself seems...

When we entered the staff only just opened so we sat down while they brought the lasagne out of the oven and when they appeared it demanded your attention as a beautiful cheesy aroma wafted through the restaurant.

The lady who waited for us was very friendly and helped us with our order (we didn't speak Czech much).

When the food came it was the most aesthetically pleasing lasagne I have ever seen and the taste... I'm going to start by saying this is by far the best lasagne I have ever tasted and words cannot begin to describe how great it was. If I had no choice than I would describe it as euphoric. You could instantly tell that this was homemade. The pasta was clearly handcrafted and everything in it was extremely fresh. I got the spicy lasagne and it was amazing it wasn't overbearing like I thought it would be it was just enough to notice it and the drink that the lady recommended complemented it.

All in all, it was an excellent place however if I could improve I believe that some salads to complement the lasagne would...
