I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. Despite reserving a parking space for two days, we were unexpectedly asked to vacate the parking area after just one day. To make matters worse, it was discovered that our parking spot had been allocated to another hotel guest. This lack of organization and disregard for our reservation is unacceptable. Additionally, it became apparent that the hotel only has a limited number of parking spaces available in its cramped courtyard. It is misleading for the hotel to advertise itself as having ample parking when, in reality, there are only 2-3 spots available in the convoluted courtyard. The hotel should not advertise parking facilities that it cannot adequately provide. The lack of consideration for guests' needs and the mismanagement of parking arrangements have left me thoroughly dissatisfied with my experience.
Furthermore, when we asked a hotel staff member for alternative parking options, they directed us to a nearby area that was supposed to be secure. Ironically, shortly after parking there, we discovered that the police were investigating a break-in to a car in that very location.
When choosing this hotel, we paid particular attention to the fact that there were private parking spaces. There was no indication from the hotel about the possibility that there was no parking space even though I asked twice and mentioned this when making the reservation. Otherwise we would probably have tried to find another hotel. the current situation is all the more...
Read moreMy partner and I stayed at the Rooftop Planet Prague for 2 nights and would like to have stayed longer. The hotel is located on the 6th floor of the building and the elevator only goes up to floor 5 but we it was not a problem for us. Check in was very easy, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We were in the Ganymede room and it was lovely, spaceous and bright with a very nice bathroom. The location is great, very central, and we mostly walked everywhere. The view of the room is over the courtyard so you don't really see much other than other tall buildings, but it lets plenty of light in and didnt bother us at all. The breakfast over at the restaurant across the street was amazing, the staff was so great, the place is very big and the food was exceptional. The hotel reception is very cute and the employee there helped us with maps, must-sees and restaurants. The room has a refrigerator and access to Netflix which was great. We didn't hear noise from other guests but everyone is asked to keep noise down after 22:00 and I found that to be respected. Would stay again in a heartbeat and couldn't recommend...
Read moreLast weekend we stayed at the hotel for our short vacation regarding the Rammstein Concert. The hotel is on the highest floor of an office building and has a lift. Starting with the reception and hall, everything seems new and is also clean. The woman at the desk was very friendly and made sure that we felt welcome. The room (Mercury) was nicely decorated, clean and offered some pleasantries like a fridge, air conditioning, an Espresso machine and a safe. All the interior seemed new and again everything was spotless. Our room was in the direction of the street, but the sound level from the street was OK. Also, the bed was super comfortable,so we really didn’t have any problems falling asleep. And if you can’t sleep, the television has a lot to offer. There is no breakfast in the hotel, but Prague most certainly has many restaurants and, due to the good localization of the hotel, you will most certainly find an alternative. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and I can recommend the hotel for a short trip, but also a...
