Must be avoided at all costs. We booked our stay here through Easyjet holidays. The pictures of the hotel on tripadvisor and booking.com are extremely dated, the hotel is very rundown and dirty. ||Upon entering our room we found multiple spider webs, dust and hair over the bed and counters. we found a pair of socks in the room which we assumed belonged to a previous guest which confirmed our suspicions that the room had not been cleaned prior to our stay. The bedsheets, bed covers and mattresses were all stained and upon unraveling the towels that were left in our room, we realised they too were stained with what appeared to be blood and other bodily fluids. ||The cleaning staff came on our second day at 16:30 (which we thought was a bit odd as it was quite late) and did not make the beds or empty the bins. the cleaners checked that we did not have any hotel breakfast food in our fridge (the hotel has a rule that if food from their breakfast buffet was found in the guests fridges, that we would be charged €10 per day per guest) and replaced our towels, which AGAIN were stained , so my partner went to reception and asked for new towels, the reception staff were quite dismissive and blunt about this. ||The staff in general were quite rude and disparaging, they often would lock the the front doors and leave the reception unattended, which meant we had to call for them to let us leave the hotel. We felt as thought we were constantly bothering the staff having to ask to leave the hotel and for new towels. ||We got breakfast on the first morning and did not return for the rest of our stay. when we came down at 9:30 the “buffet” consisted of about 10 pieces of stale bread, some damaged fruit, a few boiled eggs and a bowl of yoghurt - it was really disappointing. the coffee machine was disgusting and the hotel only had fruit teas which my partner could not drink. ||We had a great time in prague and throughly enjoyed ourselves, but we were just majorly let down...
Read moreHotel that had a few drawbacks, but also unique features that made it a memorable experience. While the rooms were a bit older in terms of decor, the hotel's location in the city center was unbeatable. It provided easy access to all the attractions and amenities the city had to offer.
However, what truly set this hotel apart was the unexpected surprise of a hidden kitchen in the wardrobe. It was a remarkable and innovative feature that added a touch of excitement and convenience to my stay. The hidden kitchen was equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils, allowing guests to prepare their own meals or enjoy a quick snack without leaving the comfort of their room. This clever addition showcased the hotel's commitment to providing unique and practical solutions for their guests.
While the rooms may have been a bit outdated in terms of style, they still offered a comfortable and cozy environment. Despite their age, the rooms were well-maintained and clean, ensuring a pleasant stay overall.
Good quality for a price. Would visit again.

Read moreWe were supposed to stay at the Residence Select Hotel from 29.09. to 5.10.2023. We checked in on time, but only stayed in the room for a little over an hour. The quality of the room was terrible! Dirty, stains on the ceiling in the bathroom, mold in the shower and around the sink, chaotic and sparse kitchen utensils, kitchen in a closet (!) without lighting, dried mosquito on the window frame. In short: a dump. Of course, we checked out immediately, losing all our money. There was no point in asking for a change of room, because if such quality is described as "Deluxe" - there was nothing to talk about at all with the receptionist. She wasn't even particularly surprised that we were checking out after an hour. Fortunately, we found a very good hotel across the street (really!), slightly more expensive - but clean, with very friendly staff, fully equipped kitchen. So: the vacation was saved. But...
