HOTEL GRAN MARISCAL QUITO — Hotel in Mariscal Sucre

We stayed at the Gran Mariscal for six nights during the protests in October. All of the staff were the polite, kind and attentive. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable during the curfew. They also organised reasonably priced day trips, which enabled us to visit Mindo, Pululhua volcano, Mitad del Mundo and Teleferico. ||||The decor is modern with Guayasamin prints on the walls, which we really appreciated after our visit to to Casa Museo Guayasamin. The breakfast is very good. The wifi is excellent, fast enough to stream videos and never lost connection. ||||Would highly recommend and would book if we visited...

We stayed three nights before traveling to Cuenca. The rooms were cleaned. The location is near Plaza Foch where we went to eat dinner and visited a few discos. Fernando Rueda, the manager, was attentive and great in telling us where to eat and places to visit. We liked the recommendation of eating at a restaurant at night on the foot of the Virgen of El Panecillo. He served good breakfast. He took good care of my group. I will come back...
