AVOID THIS HOTEL
I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, the front desk staff member, an older gentleman in his 40s, was visibly frustrated and spoke to me in a disrespectful tone right from the start. When I responded similarly, he became very aggressive, got up from his chair, and started threatening me.
He said things like: "You don’t know who I am." "Don’t mess with me, little man."
Additionally, I was informed that you can't get a printed receipt and an emailed receipt simultaneously, which contradicts my previous experience at this hotel just three days earlier.
Overall, the staff member was rude, disrespectful, and seemed incompetent. The incident occurred on June 21st at 11:15 PM. The staff member in question is older, taller, has gray hair and glasses, and appears to be in his 40s. His behavior made me feel very unsafe. I strongly recommend addressing this issue to avoid potential harm to...
Read moreThis hotel is mid in everything. I’ll summarize all the positive and negative aspects of my 3 day business trip stay here.
🟢 Pros:
The location is really good and it is surrounded by lots of beautiful cafes and restaurants.
Clean room. I don’t mean it was super clean. No. But acceptable.
-The price is not so high.
They told me I can change my room anytime if I feel uncomfortable.
🔴 Cons:
The wifi was so weak and disconnected so many times.
The water was cold sometimes.
My AC was not working and it was so rainy on those days in Paris. I was feeling so cold and had to wear a jacket to sleep.
The breakfast was super bad. There was nothing warm there to eat. It was not so expensive (10€) but even for this price it was disappointing.
There were some construction (they told me it was outside of the hotel but the labors were actually had everything in the lobby) and there were super loud noises until 5-6...
Read moreLocation is spot on - 5 mins from Gare de Montparnasse, and the Montparnasse centre. Also in the midst of what looks like an up and coming place for restaurants and bars. It was a 30 min walk to the Seine which was pleasant to do on a nice day, but there were also Metro stations nearby for when we didn't feel like walking. Check in was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly.||The room itself was tiny. The bathroom was half the size of the room, but the shower area was so small they may as well have just turned it into a wet room. The wifi did not work most days so we just used roaming. The 'air-con' was just a fan which did not cool the room at all, however low I set it. The floor was dirty when we checked in and, although the room was serviced during our stay, remained dirty.||It is a budget hotel but its location makes...
