Stopped in here for a drink with a friend before we went to dinner. Found a seat quickly on the heated terrace and the waitress was there for our order almost immediately. Staff overall were great! Prices were great as well. The problem though is the product. The pints which were on happy hour were literally pour just above the halfway mark with LOADS of foam. I agree that some foam for a beer is good, but this was egregious and obviously an attempt by the management to squeeze out some profit by skimping on what it is you're paying for. I've seen this several times in France and it's upsetting - imagine you ordered a 300g steak and 100g was fat and 100g was bone, technically it is 300g but that's misleading, just is this was.

I went for Happy Hour, on Mondays it lasts for 5 hours! The drinks weren't bad and neither was the food. I also liked that I was given seasoned nuts to snack on. The foie gras had a sweeter taste to it then the ones I've had before which was interesting. The French onion soup was better than ones I've tried at other places but a little too bitter for my taste. Their heat lamps were on full blast lol so it was perfect for the cold weather. I'd probably come back for happy hour.

We had dinner here this evening and it was wonderful. Melan (sorry if this is not spelt correctly) served us and we couldn’t have been more pleased. He was professional yet friendly and charming in the right amount, thank you. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced and we wound highly recommended. Lovely atmosphere sat outside in the charming theatre district 😊

Chose this restaurant our last night in Paris, mainly because we wanted a restaurant that served escargot (because we had never tried it), and also because I've got two picky boys and this restaurant seemed to have something for each of them.

Quite the disapointment! I'll start with the good. The server was very good & attentive. The pizza my son ordered was good, not spectacular like you'd get at an italian restaurant, but better than Domino's. The fries were greasy but good (if you like greasy fries like me). That's about where the good ended.

I ordered the steak with the pepper sauce, done medium. The steak came out well done and was tough as shoe leather. Took one bite, absolutely no flavor, chewed for about 5 minutes before finally spitting it out. And that was the end of that.

We also ordered the charcuterie tray, besides coming out with a small ramekin of what tasted like tuna fish and had a hair sticking out of it, the tray was otherwise ok.

We ordered the tapas sampler. Literally it had what looked like cheap chicken nuggets, cheap mozzarella sticks, cheap onion rings, and cheap breaded calamari rings, reminded my od what you get in the froze section at the grocery store.

And to top off the night, the baguette they brought to the table was stale, not soft in the middle like every restaurant we had been to on this trip.

All in all, would not...

Caveat Emptor would rate zero if an option… Tourist Trap run by a bunch of see the tourists coming a mile away types AVOID like poison They have curb boards on street in front of establishment advertising a wonderful Happy hour drink special so we popped in and the waiters English was more than adequate so no lost in translation here plus we clearly pointed and also said we will have the 250 ml €6.50 rose wine HH special and when it came I said to my wife this seems like a short pour. My bad for not asking the bad waiter…so we drank our two glasses of wine and asked for the l’addition and sure enough it was the 140 ml pour at the non happy price of €6 normal price 1/2 a euro less for 56% leas wine. Hoping nothing but bad karma as I light my voodoo candle for this place. Even if I am wrong (which I pretty certain I’m not) would not a decent honest waiter and non chilising establishment say “ Hey for another 1/2 of 1€ I can pour you another 110 ml of wine”. Red...
