Le Comptoir Belge — Restaurant in Paris

I’m a juice addict and I’ve recently become obsessed with fresh pressed carrot juice. Unfortunately there aren’t a lot of places that offer it, much less on the go, but one day my boyfriend wanted a snack so we stopped by. I live in one of the buildings above so I had seen the signs for juice and had wanted to try. I ended up getting the Santé. Every time I stop by the women are really nice. I’ve since asked that they put more carrot in it because it tastes mostly of apples but it’s all pressed right in front of you. And the waffles are great. Someone below mentioned price but they start at 3€ and go up depending on toppings. The juice I buy is 6€. I haven’t tried their sandwiches, they were out the last time I went, but I stop by here 2-3x a week and haven’t had any problems. It really is convenient being able to step outside my door and pick up a juice...

We are lucky to have Le Comptoir Belge in our neighborhood. I guarantee you have never had a more delicious and decadent waffle! Other reviewers' comparisons with the gaufres you can buy from vendors at Trocadero are misleading, as the two products are utterly different, and intentionally so. LCB's waffles cost more, yes. But you're getting a much better product for your money. Try the ones with the real dark chocolate baked...

Gaufre bonne mais service désagréable et antipathique Je suis passé au comptoir belge le 26 juillet 2025 à 18h50 L'employée m'annonce sèchement qu'ils ferment et qu'elle ne peut pas me faire une gaufre sur le moment alors que l'horaire de fermeture indiqué est 19h30. J'étais sur le point d'accepter des gaufres réchauffées quand une autre famille arrive pour commander. L'employée désagréable les sert avant moi. Elle me fait ensuite comprendre d'un ton défiant que si je ne veux pas elle peut jeter les gaufres réchauffées et me rendre ma monnaie. (très anti commercial de sa part...). Elle repasse aussi à la charge sur le fait que la boutique ferme à 19h. J'ai finalement été servi : un gaufre bonne en gout certes mais toute sèche et écrasée. Mon expérience de consommateur en a été largement dégradée. Tout du long on sentait qu'elle voulait simplement se débarrasser de moi au lieu de me servir. Je compte sur la direction pour prendre les mesures nécessaires d'autant plus que j'ai l'habitude de venir à cette adresse et que je n'ai jamais eu de problèmes par le passé. Précisons qu'il y avait 2 employés derrière le comptoir mais le second ne faisait rien à ce moment et n'est...
