This was supposed to be a deluxe room.|Health and safety issues: mould throughout the bathroom; dirt on a dispenser in the bathroom; rusting towel rack; electrical sockets in the room coming away from the wall; damaged cover on the landing exposing electrical cables and pipework.|Air quality: the hotel's air conditioning had not been working for a while. It had not even been fixed when I called a few weeks after our stay. It was unacceptably hot and we could not sleep. The rooms had all been given desk fans only. Ours was noisy. Only half of the small window opened. There were heavy curtains only (no net curtains) and the window directly overlooked the window opposite, so the choice was to either have no privacy or no air. The obvious pigeon problem made it worse. The hotel claimed that they had a notice on their website (and informed the booking agent) to warn that there was no air conditioning, but there was no such notice (I have plenty of screenshots). The hotel has now removed its website (easier than fixing the airco?).|Room otherwise: everything looked worn and tired. Bed linen was clean but the sheet was too small for the mattress, so it kept moving from under us. Wardrobe was damaged and the sliding door was difficult to operate. Toilet was clean.|Breakfast: the area was clean but nearly all chairs were damaged, with stuffing exposed. Cereals, coffee, juices and bread were all of the cheapest quality and unpleasant. Only the tea was drinkable.|Safe: the company has close-ups of a safe on booking sites, but the safe did not have a working key pad. The only solution was to use the backup key, but because this was the ONLY key, we would have lost our valuables if the key was lost.|Reception: the receptionists were pleasant, but they did not seem to have any power to do much. There seemed to be only one person manning the whole hotel at any one time, making it a sleeping service rather than a three-star hotel.|We felt we could not stay after one night. The hotel has not responded to any of our emails or indeed any messages from the...

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, especially not someone traveling solo. The location of the hotel is great it’s very central to all the metro lines, and lots of shops and food places. The staff were approachable and friendly and I had no issues with them. When I went into the hotel I was given a broken door key which had been cellotaped together from that I should have known it was going to be bad. I was on the 3rd floor, and thankfully the lift was working, the room was the smallest I’ve seen in my life, I’m glad I was solo as thinking of sharing that space with someone else would kill me, if anyone has seen the film taken that’s what I thought of instantly the room was run down out of date, the bed sheets smelt funny, the decorative pillows covered in dust, and the wardrobe door hanging on by a thread.. that’s before addressing the mattress that is as like a rock. The bed kept breaking and the leg kept falling off the which I repeatedly had to fix🤣.. the tv has no English channels which is fair enough but would be nice for the radio at least we on the remote it’s got channels for YouTube, Netflix etc but it’s not the remote for the correct tv🤣.. thankfully the room had a fridge which was good to keep some drinks cold. The shower doors were hanging on for dear life and wouldn’t close properly the shower took easily 8-10 mins to heat up before getting into it also. There is no air con or anything in the room and it was boiling!! But you do have a window, and if you see the amazing view I had (not) then I was hesitant about keeping the window open there was a woman straight a head of me which kept smoking out of her window which kept blowing into my room which wasn’t nice.. I felt generally unsafe in this hotel there was people shouting out the rooms all night, I felt someone was going yo come into my room and while I was sleeeping it was awful I couldn’t even recommend this place to someone looking for something cheap as it’s just not nice! ||Shame as the staff and location is lovely just the overall...

Second stay at this hotel, our first stay was not long before covid, The hotel was a bit run down then, but wow ! it is much worst now. I couldn't believe how run down it has gone. I had read the reviews before booking again and thought " Oh here we go people exaggerating" but believe the reviews. Hotel is in a wonderful location with a view of the boulevard ( you can watch all the dodgy dealing going on in the evening) from room 4014, I did request room 3010 where I had stayed previously, had an email back confirming that I could have this room , never got that room though ( same view though as room 4014 ) so do not trust the communication between you and the hotel. Check in was great and the guy checking us in was wonderful ( not like the two clowns on checkout ) A/C in foyer, but when you get to your room it's broke! so you have a fan. Carpet is grubby and threadbare, SKIRTING BOARDS ARE FILTHY and BLACK MOULD IN SHOWER ! storage space is falling apart, windows dirty, curtains should be binned and draws in bathroom sink cupboard are dangerous. You have to pay 50 euro deposit, refunded after they check your room on check out. When we checked out a member of staff went to check the room, lol, I had left it cleaner than when I arrived, he came back down and showed the other member of staff his phone, then showed myself a photo of the pillow case I had slept on , it had some hair dye on it where I had been perspiring throughout the night as there was no A/C. I was then informed that they would have to deducted 10 euro from my deposit, for God sake keep it all If your that desperate !! get your A/C fixed and stop falsely advertising that you have A/C it only works in the foyer where you have to spend most of your time ! Good points of hotel, not a bad size room or bathroom, fridge in room, location, clean comfy bed And the guy who checked us in. Would not use this hotel again...

Booked this hotel through a 3rd party. Booked primarily because it was close to Le Trianon, where I would be seeing a concert. After the first night, noticed that the outlets were not working. Looked at the outlets with one of the hotel workers and saw a live plug half sticking out of the wall. After expressing my discontent, I was given a key to the room next door. Smaller bed, and also no functioning plugs. When I was packing to move, I just decided that I did not want to stay here anymore, no real attempt to make the situation better (the second room was definatly a downgrade) so I felt that complaining again was not worth it and left. I had to book myself into something more expensive, but I felt safe using the plugs. I reached out to the booking agent, hotels dot com and was told they would try to refund me. After 3 attempts at getting at least 1 night refunded, I was told that I should have complained more and that they were sorry, the hotel is not refunding me so there is nothing they can do. The chat agents were copying and pasting standard rebuttles and refusing to assist with the issue, citing 'policies'. Lesson learned here is, discounted hotels are such for a reason and avoid 3rd party bookings whenever possible. I feel completly abandoned by the booking service, I have used them a few times in the past, but will not moving forward. The fact that they list a hotel with exposed wiring and in obvious disrepair is a cause for concern.

Honestly nightmare hotel, staff don't speak French and barely speak English, was accosted each morning at (the very grim) breakfast and told it wasn't included in my rate (despite it specifically being included), not sure why they couldn't check their list before harassing the guests. The €50 deposit thing is super weird considering the already shabby broken fixtures in the rooms, plus checking the room while I was checking out... Then the cherry on top was when they wouldnt/couldn't provide me with an accurate invoice for my stay, despite repeated follow up emails. *update to add: just read another review here where someone said a staff member opened their door while they were sleeping, I had a similar experience so had to bolt my door from inside every time I was in the room
