La place Longchamp — Restaurant in Paris

Despite arriving with a reservation, my family of nine was met with an unwelcoming attitude from the moment we were seated. The restaurant was nearly empty on a Friday evening, yet several staff members—especially those behind the bar—repeatedly stared at us, exchanged glances, and whispered to one another in a clearly uncomfortable manner. One staff member in particular, a man behind the bar, continued to glare at us throughout the first 15 minutes of our visit.

Even my 6-year-old niece asked, “Why are people looking at us like that?”—which speaks volumes. After tolerating the behavior for a while, I finally asked them directly why they were staring. Rather than acknowledge the situation, they denied everything and brushed it off.

I don’t know whether it was due to us being tourists, having young children with us, or something else entirely—but no customer should be made to feel judged or unwelcome, especially by the staff.

As a business owner myself, I don’t take leaving negative reviews lightly. But this experience crossed a line. I hope this review serves as a fair and honest warning to others, and I truly hope management addresses the unacceptable behavior of some of...

We had an amazing experience at La Place. Olivier, the owner, and his staff are fabulous! Their service was stellar and their attention to detail was fantastic. My wife has Celiac Disease and Olivier was so kind and concerned to make sure there was absolutely no cross contamination of my wife's food. My wife felt 100% confident that her food was safe to eat. We both had Sea Bass and it was great!!!! Olivier opened the restaurant just before COVID - 19 and he worked long hard hours to keep the business going. His wife has been so supportive! Why do I know this information? Because not only did Olivier make sure our dinning experience was exceptional regarding the food, and design of his building but he took the time to talk us and answer all of our questions and get to know us as individuals and not just customers.We also met his wife and children. Interesting options on the menu. If you’re looking for a French cuisine with decent options , you get to visit here. Me and my friend had a chance to visit this place a day ago and it didn’t disappoint to our expectation and it was worth the visit. We had Grilled sea bass fillet, ratatouille, fresh coulis of acidulated tomatoes , 2.Octopus tentacle a la plancha, new potatoes, chimichurri sauce 3.Beef "crying tiger" style, fried noodle with vegetables

Sea bass was grilled well and it was very fresh and ratatouille was blended well worth sauce. Much satisfied.

Beef was very tender and cooked well. Fried noodle was delicious with fresh aroma and I liked it personally.

Octopus was highlight of the show and it was ultimate.
