Absolutely thrilled to share my unforgettable dining experience at Adraba. I was met with the type of welcome I would experience at a dear friend’s house. The staff's genuine enthusiasm for their food and their culture was evident in every single detail of the restaurant and leaves you feeling like an honored guest they hope to share a meal with.
The food was incredible - every dish was a masterpiece, meticulously plated with the freshest ingredients. Each dish felt so special and thoughtfully crafted and none felt pretentious or unapproachable. Their ability to tell a story about their culture through their food and drinks left me in awe.
The service was impeccable. If you don’t know what to order, ask!! Their recommendations showcase their deep passion for the menu and their passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
Our final drink and relocating to the bar for more conversation with the staff was the grand finale that left me speechless. The artistry and creativity they pour into each drink was nothing short of breathtaking. And don't even get me started on the Adraba Spritz – it’s the perfect refreshing cocktail after walking around Paris all day.
In a world where dining experiences can sometimes feel ordinary, Adraba stands out as a beacon of passion, creativity, and excellence. Every detail was carefully thought out, and it's evident that the entire team pours their heart and soul into every aspect of the restaurant. This is more than just a place to eat; it's a destination for those who seek the passion and whimsy that Paris promises but can be hard to find — if you’re heading you Adraba you...
Read moreI'm unsure if this is actually a Levantine place. my friends and I come from a variety of different Levantine countries. however, none of us could actually recognise any of the cuisine, so this was actually rather disappointing from an experience and also from an authenticity of flavours. now I understand that restaurants may reserve some artistic interpretation or the choice to include some influence in new recipes. however, the moment you put a label on it, it becomes rather confusing. I would suggest and I know that I'm one of the very small minority in this case considering the good reviews and don't get me wrong. the food was palatable, however, from an overall experience it left us hanging and wanting more and quite lacking in the flavours of the Levant. Morocco and Iraq are very far removed from the Levant, I would suggest to remove the Levant label from this restaurant or change the menu to actually reflect and respect the flavours of the of where they come from.
Tabule with muhammarra? Fish with Labne? manoush with baba ghannoush??? That's the equivalent of serving English crumpets with garlic, honey and Salmon!
To the owners, I respect and salute your effort to have a high quality restaurant and I am not one to normally leave bad reviews. however, I really needed to leave a balanced review as there was a disproportionate amount of positive reviews As compared to the quality and authenticity from my...
Read moreI’ve been to this restaurant twice now, and both visits have been great. The first time, they let me in even though they were fully booked, which was so nice of them. This time, I made a reservation, and the owner offered me a spot at the bar. I’m traveling solo, so that worked out perfectly—I actually had an amazing time there.
I got to chat with one of the co-chefs, Liad (I think that’s his name), and he was really nice. We talked about the things we have in common between our cultures, about food, and even about the weather. The waiter and waitress were also super friendly, and the overall vibe was so welcoming.
The food? Honestly, it’s just so good. Every dish I tried was delicious, and the atmosphere made it even better. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I definitely would!
That said, I want to mention something for awareness. One of the co-chefs, a woman with long blonde hair, made a comment about where I’m from that made me feel a bit uncomfortable, like I should be ashamed of it. I’m sure it wasn’t meant that way, but it’s worth pointing out that France is such a multicultural and diverse place, and experiences like this should feel positive and inclusive for everyone.
Overall, though, this is a fantastic restaurant with great food, great people, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would absolutely...
