Farben, Düfte, Frankreich

Der Marché de la Place Broglie ist kein riesiger Markt – aber genau das ist seine Stärke: Übersichtlich, charmant und voller Genuss. Mitten in Straßburg, an einem der schönsten Boulevards der Stadt, reihen sich hier Stände mit Spezialitäten aus der Region aneinander: Käse, Gebäck, Obst, Gemüse, Blumen – und dazu das leise Murmeln französischer Marktsprache.

Alles wirkt authentisch, nicht überinszeniert, und trotzdem wie aus einem Bilderbuch. Die Farben sind ein Traum – Rot, Grün, Gold und Lavendel, perfekt zum Einkaufen – oder einfach zum Fotografieren.

Glorya – meine 11 cm große Giraffe mit Glitzeraugen und erstaunlich gutem Gespür für gutes Essen – blieb diesmal eher zurückhaltend. Sie saß am Rand auf einem Poller, schnupperte in Richtung Käsestand und sagte: „Ich weiß nicht, was es ist – aber ich glaube, ich mag es.“

Fazit: Ein Markt für alle Sinne – klein, aber fein. Ein Stück echtes Elsass, mitten in der Stadt, ohne Kitsch und mit viel Herz. Ein Ort, um Frankreich zu schmecken, zu riechen – oder einfach nur...
