Burger House appeals to burger enthusiasts like my husband, who’s something of an expert, so we’re always on the hunt for spots that deliver a solid take. Spread across two floors, the place is bright and airy, with ample space—we chose a window seat to soak in the city views while dining.
FOOD:
The focus here is squarely on burgers, with intriguing options like rabbit, duck, or pork variations, though we stuck to the classic for a fair gauge. It arrived looking substantial and well-assembled, with a juicy patty free of gristle or unwanted bits, signaling quality meat. The fillings struck a decent balance, with plenty of cheese and crisp, fresh vegetables adding layers. However, the bun felt oversized for the patty’s proportions, its breadiness overpowering the other elements and prompting us to ditch the top half to better enjoy the rest.
SERVICE:
The service was friendly and straightforward—we placed our order at the counter, and it was ready in about 10 minutes, handled with efficiency that kept things moving without fuss.
VERDICT:
Burger House serves up a reliably balanced burger that edges above average in Tbilisi’s scene, making it a reasonable choice for a casual fix. Trimming back on the bun’s dominance could push it toward standout status, but as is, it holds its own for those seeking straightforward satisfaction...
Read moreWent here with a friend after finals week, both had the chicken burger which comes with fries and a small pot of coleslaw.
The chicken burger tasted pretty good I would say 6.5/10; but me and my friend didn’t taste the teriyaki sauce at all, the fries were very well seasoned and tasted better than the burger (7.5/10); my only criticism is that the quantity of fries was lacking for the 30 lari price tag (including with burger), and the coleslaw was pretty average tasting (5/10).
The banana milkshake was pretty tasty for 15 GEL as well, 7/10.
Personally, this place is somewhere you would try once and then likely go back to try something different on the menu (pork belly burger, rabbit burger), but not the same item as your previous visit.
My understanding was they have halal options for Muslims as well, which isn’t super common for a burger place in Tbsilsi; which could be a plus if you require such a...
Read moreThe burgers are amazing, but I would like to mention the waitress, who is even more amazing!!
We visited this place a few times and everytime it was packed full of customers. However, the waitress was always friendly and welcoming. She was the one greeting us, taking orders, and bringing out orders all on her own. She was even running up and down the stairs with the orders! after some time you'd expect her to be tired, but she was always very nice and took her time when talking to us.
It seems to me like shes the only waitress working her (but in case she isn't, I'm specifically talking about the waitresss with short blonde hair), so I'd like to commend her specifically for her amazing hard work!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Tbilisi, for the good food and the great...
