The food at this restaurant was excellent, and most of the staff provided a great experience. However, we encountered a serious issue with the receptionist, Jenny (blonde hair), whose behavior was completely unacceptable. She treated two elderly individuals, who are not German speakers, with blatant disrespect and even tried to force them out of the restaurant. Her actions were appalling and unprofessional.
Although her colleagues were polite and tried to resolve the situation, Jenny refused to apologize or acknowledge her inappropriate behavior. What made the experience even worse was the lack of action from the manager at the door, who chose not to address her misconduct or remove her from her position during the incident.
We stayed to finish our meal because the other staff members, particularly our waiter, were kind and accommodating. We tipped generously to show our appreciation for their efforts, but Jenny’s attitude overshadowed what could have been a flawless dining experience.
This is not the first complaint about her behavior, as other reviews have highlighted similar concerns. I strongly urge the restaurant’s management to take immediate action to address this matter. Someone with such unprofessional behavior has no place in hospitality and tarnishes the reputation of an otherwise excellent...
Read moreThis week i went to Beast with a friend. It was an experience to remember. The atmosphere was great, most tables occupied, nice electronic/ techno music fitting Berlin. The restaurant has a stylish yet cozy interior, with dim lighting, modern, sophisticated design with art fitting to the „beast“.
The food at Beast was great. The tacos were amazing, the oysters were great and beautifully presented. The Wellington was amazing. Apparently only one of a few restaurants in Berlin that offer it. If you are a meat lover it’s perfect but also if you prefer something lighter, there’s options for everyone, even veggie.
However, what truly made the evening outstanding was the service, especially our waiter, Niklas. He was not only professional and attentive but also genuinely friendly and welcoming. He took the time to explain the menu, offer recommendations, and ensure that everything was perfect throughout the meal. He even cautioned us if we know what the Wellington is, in case we don’t. Which is great to avoid disappointment. Niklas was great, be grateful to have him!!! thanks a lot to this guy.
So overall, Beast delivers on all fronts—atmosphere, food, and most importantly, service. If you visit, I recommend asking for Niklas; his hospitality makes the difference.

Read moreThe hostess was very friendly and helpful, sad enough this was almost the highlight of our visit. The ambiance in the restaurant is great, already from the outside it looks attractive, which has for sure been extended to the inside. It was busy, so I would understand some things can go not so smoothly. We had to wait for a long time before we could order anything, only to be a bit disappointed. As a starter we ordered bread with dips, but the main course was on the table before the bread. The dip(s?) was something that resembled wasabi mayonaise. I like that on itself, but as a dip for bread (which was dry and a bit burned) it was not to my tasting. We ordered some drinks, but the server was a bit slow, one drink came much later vs the rest. The main courses looked good, but taste was average at best. The seasoning of the dishes was poor and the meat was not cooked properly on several examples (dry chicken, almost raw and cold steak). The quality of the meat however was very good! We ordered some fries, but they never came. Our main server was not able to keep up the pace with her tables. Again we had to wait relatively long for the check. I would like to believe that this restaurant is better. I would probably try it again, just to be sure. But for today I was...
