Absolute bliss. The moment you enter the establishment, you leave the known cullinary universe. Hakan is like a spiritual guru that takes you on a journey of the senses.
The toasted doner bread crunches like the first fallen leaves beneath your feet on the dawn of autumn. The moment your lips meet this masterpiece, time freezes, birds stop chirping, the world around you appears to come to a complete halt. Nothing could have prepared me for the sheer extacy i experienced as i took bite after bite out of this marvel of berliner cuisine. Hakan’s signature spicy sauce will warm you up like a mother’s loving embrace of her newborn child. Even the most honorable samurais in the far east would have envied his intense mastery of the kebab shearing knife. The beautiful tapistry of “Gemüse” take you to a meadow at the gates of heaven, where you’re kissed by sweet droplets of morning dew as Saint Peter greets you from afar.
Once you finish and come back reality, the outside world feels bland, almost insultingly so. You will wish you could have spent eternity in that single moment of bliss, frozen in time.
Hakan will probably not remember me, but he has forever influenced my life in a way he will never know.
Seriously though kinda decent, 10/10...

Guess most reviews are from tourists as this restaurant is located in a touristic area next the a shopping mall and overall touristic area.
The staff was friendly, although not very interested in answering the question what döner they are known for (I mean, a restaurant with such a high rating must have a signature dish). Anyway, my döner kebap with meat (not chicken) was small for the price and did taste very boring. There was nothing in it that made it stand out in any way. I had better döners in Switzerland - and that says a lot!
I am sure that there's much better options within a five minute walking distance.
The high rating of this restaurant is another proof that a majority of the people who rate and write reviews on internet platforms lack a basic knowledge of the things they review, often as self-assured as an award-winning food critic - or they simply have low standards...
Read moreDonor Inn at Alexanderplatz, Berlin, completely blew me away. Hands down, the best doner I’ve ever had in my life! Every bite was bursting with flavour juicy, perfectly seasoned meat wrapped in fresh bread with crisp veggies and mouthwatering sauces. It was simply unforgettable.
The fries were equally impressive golden, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. Everything was served hot and fresh.
But what really made the experience stand out was the atmosphere and service. The vibes were immaculate clean, vibrant, and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and warm, making me feel right at home from the moment I stepped in. You can tell they really care about their customers.
I’m already looking forward to my next visit. If you’re in Berlin and want a doner that hits every spot flavour, quality, and experience. Doner Inn is the place to go....
