Potoula Apts — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

If you want reasonably priced family-run accomodation, in an idyllic area, with attentive and friendly hosts, this is the place for you.

The complex is located about 2 minutes from the beach, snuck away behind an antique archway. There is a swimming pool in the courtyard and lots of greenery. Each apartment has cooking facilities and a balcony with a dining table for two. The apartments follow a traditional greek style, so you really feel immersed in the culture of the island.

Our hosts were more than accomodating, we had an issue with our fridge, and they replaced it immediately whilst also trying to move us to another room.

They were more than happy to speak with us about things to do and places to visit on the island.

Still perfect after all these years! This was my second time staying at Potoulas Apartments—my first visit was back in 2007—and I’m happy to say it’s just as wonderful as it was then. The place has been beautifully maintained and still has that same warm, welcoming feeling.

The location is ideal: close to the beach, shops, and tavernas, yet peaceful and quiet at night. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed.

The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, just like I remembered—always ready with a smile and great local tips. It’s rare to find a place that holds up so well over time, and Potoulas...

Great location, close to sandy beach, restaurants and bus to Chania.|Lovely family own and provide all the required services.|3 buildings around the pool with apartment on upper floor and 2 studios on ground floor|Apartment has a good size bedroom and another room has pull out sofa , table & chairs, cooker, sink & fridge.|Comfiest bed I’ve had in Greece with good mattress & topper.|Large balcony overlooking pool with lots of room to eat|Bins emptied every day, clean towels every 2 days and clean sheets every 4 days.|Nice pool but could do with 2/3 more sunbeds||Whole complex is kept very clean...
