Stoa Rooms — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

Wanted to stay 1 night in Chania near the centre on a budget & this was perfect. The spotless room had a single & double bed, kettle, fridge, coffee, lots of teas, milk & water. The room included aircon, safe, hairdryer & a modern shower room with toiletries. There were little extras like sweets, biscuits & home made raki from the owner Yannis & free wifi We were yards away from the harbour & could see it from our little balcony. ||Not really suitable for a full holiday in the summer but perfect for a few nights. Very nice place - with a view to a Chania old tow harbour. A lot of tavernas around this hotel but we slept very well, there was no noise in a room. Big balcony where you can take a step to the roof. Very very nice host - very helpful. In the room there were some treats: cookies, chewing gum, cold water, candies. And also they have a shower cubicle! Quite rare in Crete. Room isn't very big but very clean. Comfortable beds. Quite steep steps to the balcony but it was no problem for us. So we had everything we need. A place is the best place to explore the city. We booked in at short notice as the weather down south in Sougia had turned nasty.||The rooms are 2 minute walk to Chania Harbour and loads of restaurants.||Very basic, clean, hard bed. Decent bathroom and shower. Interesting view of the harbour - one had to step thru the glass doors and up a small ladder on a small balcony from which there was a view of part of the harbour.
