MY ROOMS — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

Stephanie & Lefteris were wonderful hosts. They went above what could have been expected, helping me out with my broken suitcase and my damp laundry. They also made a couple of important Greek phone calls on my behalf, which made things easier for me.||The generous breakfast - which I hadn't known about when I booked - included a toasted cheese sandwich (with ham for non vegetarians), boiled egg, fruit, and yoghurt with honey and muesli, and the complimentary welcome drink in the fridge was appreciated. ||The room was beautiful, in a historic building, and the shower was good with hot water and good pressure. There is also a lovely roof garden area.||The location was excellent - a walkable distance from the main bus station and supermarket, and only a couple of minutes from the beautiful Venetian harbour. It is a lively neighbourhood, but I didn't notice any noise at night and the bed was far more comfortable than my own bed at home!||It was a memorable stay and I can't rate this property (and these hosts) highly enough. The rooms are clean and comfortable for what it is; I mean you’re in Greece - you’re here for the exploration and beaches! I loved my stay here, the owner is the most kind man, he and his wife were so welcoming. Always smiling and ready to help. The hospitality will have me come back and stay here time and time again! The rooftop terrace is a nice touch and he serves you coffee/breakfast upstairs. The coffee is great! He also did my laundry 🥹 I can’t say enough good about this place. You’re in for a treat with love and care if you stay here. It’s also really quiet at night even for being on a busy street, the windows are double panned glass so you cannot hear much commotion. I stayed here on my first and last night whilst travelling on my own in Crete, and it was such a great decision! The place is very central on a safe street, super clean, with air condition, and nice touches left by the hosts, like earplugs and free drinks in the fridge, plus a coffee and tea station to be used whenever! Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace, with beautiful plants and views on central Chania. Lefteris, the owner, is a really kind and helpful man, who carried my luggage up and down the steps, which was much appreciated! I also appreciated being able to leave my stuff there for a couple of hours before catching the bus South, so I could explore Chania for a couple more hours fancy free.
