Mirabello Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Heraklion

We book direct on Mirabello website, paid about 56 euro per night (there's small tax amount, i think it was 0.5 per night). The room size is actually quite decent for this budget. it's very clean, very modern, there's all the necessary amenities, cups, coffee, tea sachet, kettle, hair dryer, hot water, etc...

We stayed at 2 different rooms here over 2 nights as we booked last minute.

The slight negative is the design of the bathroom.

1. the 1st night, we were more ok, the spacing was bigger in the bathroom.
2. the 2nd night, the bathroom sink was poorly designed. the place where you put your toiletries and tooth brush kinda just above the sink, so it's very inconvenient when you bend down to wash your face, etc. While the shower space is not huge, i think it's still ok.

I would still recommend you to stay here if you are on a budget though. the location from the port is just far enough that walking will be quite annoying. but to the town and other...

I stayed in Mirabello for only 1 night. The hotel is in heraklion citycenter, a stone's throw from souvenir shops, restaurants, cafe, in the most touristic area. It's really hard to find yourself a space for your car, as it happens in the whole city, but there's a private parking lot within 10 meters. There's an evevator inside for the ones who stay up to a floor, the room looked brand new and had a small balcony. The mattres was really soft and cosy, any need was available like towels, soap, toilet paper, wardrobe n' cupboards, chairs, tv, wifi, kettle, coffee n' tea. The a/c was not working but I didn't call for help coz I didn't really need it, or else I guess it could be fixed. This is my second time staying at the Mirabello Hotel. It is not fancy, however that is not something I look for in a hotel. I look for location, security, cleanliness and wifi. This has all of the above. The staff is super friendly. Our beds were changed daily as were our towels. The rooms are small but very very clean. As for location, you are in the middle of everything Heraklion has to offer in a few steps, and the price is extremely reasonable.
