Hotel Delfines — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

What a pleasant and outstanding experience right in the heart of Mykonos city! The location is outright ideal: in the center of all the action, yet placed in a quiet corner, while strategically just a few steps away from the harbor (very convenient no matter how you arrive). Even the city’s sandy beach is just around the corner. The rooms (at least the ones I got to know) are charming with nice decoration, the beds have comfortable mattresses, there is a writing desk (most likely used for makeup), a small wardrobe and there is a fridge and kettle with coffee and tea supplies (The room size is not big but it’s not cramped). A balcony - accessible by all guests - offers chairs with nice views on the pedestrian street with all the cute shops, restaurants and bars. The plaza nearby is a great spot to relax and watch the stream of tourists flocking through the city. Watch out for the amazing stylish bakery and other food places. What makes this down to earth boutique hotel even more special - aside the great price - are the friendly owners. It’s a family business and everyone goes out of its way to make your stay a pleasant one. Perfect for an overnight stay. Great communication before we arrived. We arrived pretty late in the evening, but Mandelena was waiting for us on reception. She explained that it was a family run hotel and it had that very friendly feel to it. The room was spotless, in fact the whole place was. I have read about issues in the bathroom, but we found it to be perfect in every way for our overnight stay. Perfect location, in the middle of everything and we were not bothered by noise from the street. But for those light sleepers, this may not be the best place for you - but tbh, if you want a centrally located hotel, then you are going to get some noise. Best Hotel experience I had in a long time. It is a family business, the owner is extremely friendly and we enjoyed talking with him about Mykonos, and receiving nice tips about the island. The service was outstanding and he made us feel like at home. The hotel is located just in the center, close to everything and easy to access.
