Merriam Mykonos Town — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

We had a truly wonderful stay! Our hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and went out of their way to make everything as easy and comfortable as possible.

Due to a 12-hour flight delay, we arrived in the middle of the night – well outside the usual check-in hours – yet everything was perfectly arranged for us. They had thoughtfully prepared everything in advance, left us clear instructions via video, and even provided water in the room. The self check-in was smooth and made us feel immediately at ease.

The room was spacious, spotless, and peaceful. Despite the central location – within walking distance to everything – the entire property is incredibly quiet and relaxing. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, with a lot of care and attention to detail. We enjoyed watching the sunset from there.

What really stood out was how genuinely helpful our host was: when a delayed bus caused us to miss our taxi (and almost miss our ferry), he kindly offered to drive us to the port himself – without asking for anything in return. On the way, he explained everything and gave us great tips for the rest of our journey.

Brand new rooms with more coming online soon over the summer. The management team is headed by Maria and Christos, both kind, friendly, and helpful to their residents. They picked us up and shuttled us among the ferry stations, the apartments, and the airport.

Theo is the carpenter working on the new rooms. Also, a very friendly, outgoing member of the staff.

The rooms are new, fully equipped, clean, and with comfortable beds. The location, in the low heights right above Mykonos town, is superb, with easy access to the streets below, but away from the noise and chaos of the crowds.

The Merriam Mykonos Town is more than I expected. Even the location is quaint and hidden just 5 minutes walk to little Venice. The rooms are so clean, quaint and well thought out. They provide toiletteries, hair dryer and iron. The owner is so friendly and helpful.
