Mykonos Adonis Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

Really really disappointed in my stay with Hotel Adonis. From the moment I got there and I explained that I had reservations at a few places and if they would be able to assist in arranging transportation for my bookings- I was just rudely told that I can't pre-book taxis and I must just to reception before my booking and check.||So before my first reservation I came down 60mins before to call for a taxi- the guy at reception said its too early| I came down again 30mins later and right up to my 7pm reservation there were no taxis available. Fortunately their driver Marius was available to assist me. Marius was very friendly and helpful during my stay.||There was absolutely no guidance,assistance or help from the staff who I found rude and unfriendly. On another occasion I arrangesd transport once again with Marius and when I paid him 20 euro in cash,as per what I told was the amount for the previous tip,he accepted it and said thank you. I was later then called by the hotel reception saying that I short paid him and how could I do that to him. I was absolutely shocked by this and I said he did not tell me and I was not informed aswell- I felt so upset as they made me feel as I tried to rob him. Being a medical doctor with my own practice- if I don't inform a patient of a changed rate or new consultation rate -the error is on our side -not the patients. Really really disappointed.||The only positive about this hotel is the location. Very close to Mykonos Town. And the shower in the room was good.||As a female solo travellor, I would not recommend this hotel compared to other places I stayed at and the good assistance I've...

From the moment we walked up to the lobby, and were greeted by friendly faces, we know the Adonis was different. The owner Roz was so kind and welcoming. She immediately checked us in, knowing we had traveled a long way to get there, even though it was very early in the day.

The hotel grounds are beautiful. The architecture and design scream "Greece"! The room was very spacious with plenty of room for both my wife and I to be comfortable and have our own little areas. We opted for a Sea View and were so pleased. We saw the Windmills and the water from our balcony. While the balcony is not very big, it was as advertised and suited our needs.

The free breakfast is spectacular. The food itself and the service. There are many options. Some of which were expected and others were not.

The location is just perfect. Close to the old town where you'll walk and shop. And very close to the beach as well. We opted for an ATV rental and were within 5 minutes of everything.

Last but not least was the staff. I only briefly mentioned Roz the owner; she and her entire staff we so helpful. No question was a stupid question. They're "old school" in the best way possible... They care about their guests. They got to know us and our needs. There was someone available 24-7, in case we needed something. They provided excellent advice and suggestions as well. Snd hearing Roz and her husband's story was fascinating. I won't spoil it here, but there may be a book in the future.

This was our last stop on a long trip and we did not want to leave once we arrived! We were greeted so warmly by all the hotel staff and made to feel right at home. The free transport from the ferry port was so helpful and everything else you need is a short walk away. 2 minutes to the bus stop, 7 minutes to the windmills and 10 to the old port where there are many good restaurants. We were traveling with our teen daughter so we booked the family suite and it was AMAZING! Our own hot tub and view of the sea. Two levels, each with their own large bed and bathroom and even a sauna. If my husband and I make it back I would still book this room again. Everything was gorgeous! The breakfast provided has so many options and a wonderful dining area with sea views as well. After speaking with the front desk we rode the bus to nearby Ornos beach easily (2 euro/person each way and about a 10 minute drive), got a wonderful dinner recommendation (Captain’s) and scheduled massages for our last morning which were divine. I can’t say enough good things about our time at Adonis! You won’t be disappointed if you stay...
