Lilian's Studios — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

Avoid. Location is pretty close to the city and the room itself is alright. But the noise level was unbelievable. She warns it's on a party street and that it can be loud. She doesn't say however that you will be staying directly above a club that blasts terrible music well into the night. I would describe the music volume with all the windows and doors shut as the equivalent of a normal club. If you can sleep inside a club then go ahead and stay there. You are offered cheap earplugs in order to help but they did little to block the noise. What's worse is that the club's themselves are super sketchy and gross. Was harassed just trying to get back to the apartment as we had to pass the clubs to get back at night. Felt incredibly unsafe with these people knowing where we were staying. Not only all of this but the most people we ever saw in the club at once was 3. So most of the time the music is playing so loud for no apparent reason. I don't think this is completely Lilian's fault however there has to be something more she could do about the noise level, especially as I know Greece has required quiet hours from 11pm-7am.

Also as an additional point, on Booking she advertises the whole apartment group as being "Lilian's Seaview party street youth studios" however please note that only 1 (or perhaps 2) of her 4 apartments actually have a seaview and it is not stated otherwise on the site. Avoid this place. The photos do not match the reality, old building, the bathroom completely floods, impossible to sleep before 3:00 in the morning. The bedrooms are on the second and third floor. I complained about the bathroom upon arrival and the hostess was very rude and even had the courage to make fun of the situation, zero respect. Even though I requested to cancel the reservation directly to booking, she chose not to refund the amount and so I had to stay in the place even though I didn't like it or I would lose the total amount I had already paid. Nel periodo estivo bisogna avere spirito di adattamento. La nostra stanza era molto carina, dotata di tutto, dalle pentole al ferro da stiro ai prodotti per la colazione. Certo, i tendaggi andrebbero rinnovati ma rimane comunque una sistemazione giusto per dormire, il resto della giornata si passa in spiaggia o girando per l'isola quindi l'arredamento è marginale. La posizione è comoda, in centro città vicino ad ogni servizio, autobus compresi e a piedi si arriva comodamente ovunque nei dintorni. Il punto focale è il rumore. Di sera ce n'è parecchio, le stanze sono letteralmente sopra le discoteche che, ovviamente, lavorano quasi fino al mattino. Gli infissi isolano abbastanza bene dal rumore ma serviranno comunque dei tappi per le orecchie (meglio in silicone, anche se Lilian li fornisce sul comodino). Se avete il sonno leggero non è il posto per voi, io e il mio compagno non abbiamo avuto problemi perché dormiamo come sassi ovunque e siamo "adattabili". La strada è il centro nevralgico della vita notturna, con discoteche, locali, sexy Shop e quant'altro quindi preparatevi a ragazzi urlanti e musica assordante. Nonostante questo è tutto molto sotto controllo, in due settimane non ci sono mai state risse o problemi da parte di nessuno. È chiaramente una sistemazione per giovani o per gente che non si fa problemi a dormire in spiaggia il giorno dopo. Nel complesso noi ci siamo trovati bene, eravamo titubanti all'inizio date le recensioni ma ci siamo ricreduti. Se avete il sonno leggero o non avete spirito di adattamento non è il posto che fa per voi, se invece poco vi importa del rumore e vi basta una sistemazione pulita e comoda allora va benissimo.
