2023 We enjoyed staying at the Medieval Inn so much last year that we booked again this year. I honestly felt as though I was visiting friends. This is a family run business with Manos, his mum, aunt and niece making sure you have the best experience. The whole Inn is spotlessly clean, the breakfasts are unbeatable in terms of quality, quantity and price. At 15€ each you won't find cheaper for what you get. You won't need a lunch after being served fresh orange juice, tea or coffee, yoghurt and honey, selection of breads with butter and jam, eggs done whatever way you like with fresh salad and cheese, cheese and ham toastie and finally fresh fruit to finish. Just mention to miss out the ham if you're veggie. They are an amazing team and we will definitely be staying with our friends at the Medieval Inn again next year. 2022 We booked the holiday to Rhodes last minute and managed to get the last available room. It was a triple room which we wouldn't have chosen but it was spotlessly clean and all that we needed as we are normally out from early morning. The terraces, garden and rooftop are lovely places to chill. The owner Manos, his mother and his team cannot do enough for you to ensure you get the best holiday with their warm welcome and tips on where to go. I have to mention that he recommended Annie's Vegan Food and Bar to us which is situated at the end of the lane. You don't have to be vegan to enjoy her food..it's amazing! We visited there every day of our holiday. Although the main square is only about a 5 min walk away the Medieval Inn is situated in a quiet spot so there will be no noise disturbance late at night. Definitely have your breakfast there. We only managed on our last day as breakfast is served from 8.30am and we usually go out really early. It's amazing...tea or coffee and orange juice, a selection of breads with butter and jam. You will also be served yogurt and honey, eggs any way you want, veg salad and a bowl of diced fresh fruit. The food just kept coming and all served in their lovely quiet garden. We did feel quite special. Cars are not allowed in the city so it's a leasurely 5 min walk from San Fransisco Gate. If mobility is an issue there are public transport electric buggies serving the city. I can't recommend the Medieval Inn highly enough. Manos and his team go way above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Finally, I feel that we have left new friends.

Gorgeous 50 year old hotel run by the sweetest family. Toula especially showed us so much hospitality and was enthusiastic to help us practice our Greek! Such generous people, making sure we know the best places to go in the city, offering a lovely garden and rooftop to relax in the shade, and showering us in love! Our time in the old town of Rhodes was so pleasant. As for the building, it feels like you are truly walking into a medieval inn, complete with stone walls and pebble streets, but the room itself is perfectly comfortable and air conditioned! The bed is extremely clean, and the bathroom is not cramped because it is a wet-room, meaning the shower is not enclosed. It is much better than the usual Greek shower which is a tiny basin that gets the floor wet anyway. We liked this! The only possible negative of this room is that it is very easy to hear people talking outside the window in the morning. However, this was good for us overall, because it encourages us to not stay awake so late at night😂 The location is excellent for travelers who want to save money—you are still in the old town, and in walking distance from everything you could want, but you are not in a crowded area. The streets are narrow and because it is not in the port area, there are some less expensive mini markets nearby. The Wi-Fi is excellent. There is cold bottled water available for purchase here. I absolutely recommend staying at Medieval Inn!

The Medieval Inn is an excellent family run B & B and a great place to stay. Manos and his family are friendly and welcoming and were very keen to make our stay wonderful. Our rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean. We stayed in the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony with access from the very pretty garden and the Superior Twin Room. Both are as perfect as the photos. We thoroughly enjoyed our very large breakfasts sourced locally every morning in the garden. A very worthwhile extra, and a very relaxing way to start the day. The walled garden with the bougainvillea and jasmine in full bloom is an excellent place to sit, relax and enjoy a drink. The smell was wonderful. On top of this the location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the centre of Rhodes, an excellent base for exploring the beautiful medieval town.

Rhodes is one of those places to return to, again and again.

The Island brings together all that Greece has to offer: Beautiful beaches and a fantastic historical heritage, of which I highlight a special one: the Fantastic Medieval City of Rhodes.

In my case, I returned for the third time and, on these three occasions, I was lucky enough to be received by Manos and his family in this authentic and charming B&B.

I say lucky, for several reasons - and I could spend many lines listing them - but one in particular is the kindness with which you are received, the care and attention given to guests.

Manos and his mother Toula, as well as the rest of the team, will provide you with a taste of authentic Greek hospitality.

This was one of the things that enchanted me the most: Being received as if I were a family guest and not an anonymous one, with that impersonal treatment that is common in large hotels.

Medieval Inn is located in a quiet and strategic area within the Old City Walls, which allows you to escape the hustle and bustle of the tourist/commercial area, but at the same time easily reach all the attractions of Medieval City, which are located a short and pleasant walk away.

There are great restaurants, bars, cafes in that region and one of the nice things to do there is to walk quietly through those little streets, just to see the movement of the daily life of the residents, see the children playing in the street, feel the delicious aroma of the food in the fire, at lunch or dinner time.

And if you like to enjoy a good night out, you will also find great places nearby.

Cleaning and organization are impeccable and rooms and common areas are tastefully decorated, making the environment relaxing and pleasant. If you want to relax and enjoy a beautiful view of the Old City, the Rooftop is a great option.

Special highlight for the wonderful and fragrant inner garden, which Toula takes care of with great care and where the delicious and authentic Greek breakfast is served – optional and paid separately, and worth every penny! Just thinking about it makes my mouth water!

In the early evening, the inner garden also serves as a place to enjoy a glass of Ouzo or wine, read a book and best of all, receive valuable tips from Manos, a great connoisseur of the island and its attractions, museums, restaurants, bars etc.

His tips will certainly provide you with a pleasant stay and the chance to discover the charms of Rhodes, through the eyes of those who live and love living on the island.

If you have a traveler's soul and want to experience the true culture of the places you visit, I'm sure you'll love staying here. Thanks again Manos and family for this third lovely stay. See you in the...

We stayed for a little bit over a week at the Medieval Inn and couldn’t have been happier.

The location of the B&B is not just practical because it’s near restaurants, bars and lively streets but it has also a special charm. It’s part of the walls of the old city which makes it super vibey and special! I have to add that even though it’s so close to everything it’s still couple of streets (like 5 minutes) away of the crowded streets so you can still enjoy a quite sleep.

We rented a car and finding a parking place near by was also not a problem.

The decoration of our room was really nice. Flower pattern everywhere on curtains, closet and small other areas and a stone wall in the room created a special atmosphere. It seems like they pay attention to small details. The bed was also really comfortable to sleep in. The outside area was also beautifully decorated with lots of flowers and plants, which provided plenty of shade to endure the Greek summer temperatures. The room and in general the B&B was super clean.

Our room had also a small and cute private balcony which was nice for enjoying a cup of wine in privacy before going to bed.

The host was super nice and helpful. He provided us with lots of informations and help even before we arrived. While we stayed at his place he took his time to recommend us places to visit, beaches and restaurants. Actually he created a own map of Rhodes. We enjoyed talking and connecting with while having couple traditional shots called mastiha and wine. Cheers to your hospitality Mano!

All in one our stay was extraordinary and we would love to come back! Truth be spoken Rhodes is a beautiful island with lots of charm and beautiful places to visit. We really enjoyed my holidays and the stay at Medieval Inn.

Best...
