An elegant looking pub / bar overlooking a very scenic square that has other bars and restaurants and a lovely looking fig tree taking centre stage. The Walk Inn has an extensive food menu that includes some vegetarian options with a variety of pizzas, pasta dishes, burgers and other local specialties, and It seems to be frequented by the local residents which is always a good sign. The staff are super friendly and the service is quick and efficient without being hurried. My girlfriend had a 6 slice vegetarian pizza (although you can order smaller or larger), loaded with mushrooms, peppers, tomato and cheese on a thin and crispy base, I opted for the classic burger, onion rings and a side of french fries, all very delicious, the portions are substantial so you won't leave hungry. The total bill came to around €26 which included a bottle of house wine. Overall a very enjoyable evening and a place I would certainly recommend for a casual...
Read morePropably the best pizza on the island! It is a place that combines a few things together! For instance, it is a small inn, it has a pizzeria in its' yard and it has a closed bar area which looks like a classic american corner bar and plays really good music. The pizzeria does not bother the bar area and vice versa. It is pet friendly and there a few stray cats that will visit you under your table and ask for a snack! It is a very cool place! I have been going there for years now! Love the pizza the burgers and salads and sometimes on a Sunday they have alternative live music bands( with live shows at the pizzeria it gets too crowded and your pizza might get burnt)! Sometimes at the bar they have live music shows too. I absolutely recommend it. As far as as the inn goes I dont gave an opinion because I never stayed because...
Read moreSat down as a table of 6, ordered 6 different pizzas and a salad. The first salad arrived in 10 mins, the 1st pizza after 30 mins then the rest of the pizzas seemed to be cooking in a different city as they arrived after 20 mins every 10 mins. We also found a hair baked into the cheese of one of the pizzas. The waitress seemed uncaring and stated she had an eye operation recently so couldn't see the large dark hair. Later she said it was only an eyelash but without apology. The pizzas without the hair were lovely, but the service and eyelashes were horrendous. They did give us a free wine and beer for the inconvenience. But in our experience it wasn't...
