Stathis — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

Super happy with our stay. Booked a private room with shared bathroom but the owner kindly upgraded us to a spacious room with a private bathroom! Was a great room - an old chapel remodeled into a hotel room - lovely and cool stone building. Lovely courtyard to chill out in and after checkout the owner happily stored our bags for us as we were leavening late in the afternoon. I spent two nights in Stathis while I was looking for a more permanent apartment in Rhodes town. Yes the room I stayed in was basic but for 25€ it's as you would expect - clean, comfortable and quiet.||There is a very nice "garden" with lots of shade and seating, a great place to sit and relax after a long day of apartment hunting!||The owner was a really nice guy and always happy to help, even if that meant looking after my bags when I wasn't staying there for the night. This Hostel is a great place to stay in Rhodes Old Town if you are looking for value. The rooms are simple, very clean, bed is comfortable, our room had the bathroom and that was very clean too. It is located beside the San Francisco Church just a short walk. We have stayed here several times when waiting to go on the ferry to the islands. George is so nice, very helpful and willing to help with information and advice. Don't expect the Hilton but for value and a friendly place to stay Stathis is perfect 👌. #Rhodes...
