We won't come back, but only because we never go back to the same place twice. Otherwise, we probably would! We felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The room was cleaned daily, with towels changed every day. The administrator addressed all our requests very quickly. No electricity sockets near the desk in the room? Here’s an extension cord. AC not working? Go to the beach, come back and find it up and running. Forgot the key inside? Here’s the spare key. I realize we should have asked them to do something about the slightly creaky bed (but it probably didn’t bother us too much). The room was plain but cozy and clean. Two things made it special: a fantastic balcony view of the sea and the sunset, and cute paintings by Little Rocks on the walls. That said, it was very windy on the 6th floor, so we didn’t feel like spending much time on the balcony enjoying the views. Luckily, the balcony had floor-to-ceiling doors, and we enjoyed this view first thing in the morning. By the way, the curtains were thick enough to keep the room dark in the morning and let you sleep in on your vacation. This isn't always the case in hotels. The breakfast was almost the same every morning, but there was enough variety to change things up if you wanted. Bacon or sausages, scrambled eggs or omelette — those were the daily changes, while the rest remained steady. What I really appreciated was the consideration for people with special dietary needs: there was soy milk, lactose-free milk, and gluten-free bread. Oh, and we LOVED the traditional orange pie! The hotel has a small pool, but we hardly ever spent time there. When we checked out, we were given a nice little gift. Overall, we loved the experience and would like to thank everyone at Riviera for their hospitality!

Our sweet beautiful hotel🥹🩵 We stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days on our Rhodes vacation and everything was really great. We loved the view of our room, we could see the sea directly from the balcony. It was great to sit there in the evenings and watch the outside. I loved the little drawings in the room. I especially wanted to take photos of them and add them here. For their breakfast, it was absolutely adequate. There was nothing missing. Also, I hadn't eaten orange cake (revani) for a long time and it was one of my favorite cakes. Every morning after my breakfast plate, I ran to get my orange cake and this was a detail that made the breakfast perfect for me. The only thing I regret is that we could only enter the sea right in front of us only once for half an hour because it was very windy and wavy, but it was completely our fault because that beach was called windy beach on the maps, we never paid attention to it, but it definitely deserves its name😅 Apart from that, we thought the location was great. It was a 15 minute walk to the old town. We loved walking to the old town for a nice meal in the evening. I would like to thank the staff especially, they were very friendly. A special thank you to the two ladies working in the morning for all your friendliness and for hosting us🩵

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and it exceeded our expectations. First of all the staff is amazing, so friendly and helpful; our room was ready 3 hours before it was supposed to. The rooms (we stayed at the corner room with a view of the see as well as the city), have everything you need, nice beds, a closet, a fridge and a fairly sized bathroom. The breakfast was great, something sweet and salty, something for everyone, the food was fresh and nicely cooked. But the most important thing was the location, everything, and i mean EVERYTHING within walking distance, the beach not even a minute away, the old town, so many restaurants, supermarkets, cafes. For the whole 4 days we didn’t need to take any taxis or buses, so our costs cut greatly. At the check out we also got a going away gift which was so sweet. For this price (or even a higher one) i would recommend this hotel for everyone, i have no complaints.

We stayed for 4 nights at Hotel Riviera during our stay at Rhodes. It is well located and ours was a sea facing room with a balcony. So it was really nice to see the sea while sipping our tea on the balcony. It was great to watch the sunset from our balcony. We walked everywhere and all sight seeing places are at walking distance. Our stay included breakfast, which was the usual fare, eggs, cucumber, tomatoes, olives, either spinach or cheese pie and bread and some assortment of sweets and cookies. We are happy with it. A big shout out to Katarina from the kitchen, she was an absolute sweetheart. When we wanted Spinach pie and only cheese pie was available that day, she actually heated us some spinach pie in the oven and packed it for us. I only wish they had more varieties of black tea like earl grey - I just did not like the tea they had. You do have an option of filling water from the bar, if you request for it. There are restaurants and grocery stores at a 5 minute walking distance and lots of shops too.||Now for the mediocre part. The hotel is very dated and I would definitely not call it a 4 star hotel, it is more a 3 star hotel. Everything in the room looks like it is from the 70's. No proper plug points and I had a very long phone charging cord and was hence ok. The room itself was basic, but we were fine with it. We requested for a kettle and extra pillows and got it. You may need to go down multiple times if you want anything from the reception, and that could be an annoyance for some, but it did not matter to us at all. The hotel does have a small elevator.||The corridors reeked of smoke, I don't know if smoking was permitted there. The room doors close with a loud bang and we could hear every room door in our floor close. You can hear the neighbors in the others rooms too. But overall, we did get a good sleep. The room was pretty clean and we did not ask for cleaning service thru out our stay and just picked up extra towels and soap from the reception. The reception staff are polite and will answer your questions and will book car and taxi for you if needed, but do not expect too much of customer service. The room safe did not work and I heard the others complaining about the same too, and it had some ancient mechanism and I regretted not calling the front desk to make it work, since we got pick pocketed in Lindos, as we carried all our money with us. ||Overall it was an OK stay and we were fine with it, we had...

I would say this hotel is fairly good for its price, as it's 1/3rd cheaper than any other with this location (the main beach/Elli beach). Workers are nice and friendly.

We arrived to the hotel at midnight uncomfortably sweaty. We got our room and noticed that there was no running water, at all. When confronting the reception, this old man said, with a slightly agressive tone, that he can't do anything about it. No time, didn't mention that there's someone fixing it or anything. We ended up going to sleep without a wash and the water eventually worked in the morning.

The room was really plain. We had two seperate beds as a couple, two chairs, a table and a miniature freezer that barely fits two 1.5l water bottles. The AC had to be on the lowest temperature (18°C) for two entire days before the room actually felt cooler than outside. Two nice ladies cleaned the rooms daily, but all towels and bed sheets smelled like they've been washed in a break/smoking room.

Breakfast was okay, as it had a lot of different breads to choose from. The warm food was either eggs that changed shape or change between bacon and sausage. The same porridge every day. Fruits also changed daily between watermelon and peaches.

The hotel was filled with young drunk Scandinavian tourists. We had upstairs neighbors banging the floor at night, but eventually stopped after knocking their door.

In conclusion, I would choose this hotel if you wanted a budget city vacation next to the beaches. You get what...
