Last night, we visited Macau Rhodes with friends, and it was an awful experience. We arrived in a good mood, but unfortunately, our encounter with the bouncer was the beginning of a particularly disappointing evening. The club was extremely crowded, with a long line outside. While this is somewhat understandable for a popular place, what was unbearable was the disgraceful behavior of the bouncer.
When we asked him why he was only letting in girls who he found attractive and not others, he responded rudely, cursed at us in an unacceptable manner, and humiliated us in front of everyone. This didn't stop there; he treated tourists at the scene with complete contempt, leaving a very negative impression of the place and Israeli hospitality in general.
In the end, we couldn't get in, and what was supposed to be an enjoyable evening turned into a nightmare. I strongly recommend anyone considering visiting Macau Rhodes to think twice. Customer service is a central part of the experience, and when it fails, nothing else matters much.
If the owners want to improve the situation, I suggest starting by replacing the bouncer and addressing customer service in a much more respectful and humane manner. Until then, I do not intend to return to this place and do not recommend...
Read moreWe had a very bad experience at Macao tonight. Staff was very arrogant and unfriendly. After scanning us at the entrance, they seated us (4 people) on a two-person mini table in the very last corner while 90% of the other seats where still free. After trying to grab two additional chairs and trying to stand on a nearby table as well, we were forced to move back to our corner. Had to ask twice for the menus and the bill. Drinks where punched with the cheapest industrial spirits available on the market and didn’t taste at all for a very high price.
We really felt very uncomfortable from the beginning and escaped that place as soon as possible with the worst experience we had so far during our vacation. We visited a lot of other nice and similar bars on the island but none made us feel that bad.
If you go there, be aware to have a service and quality of drinks as you would expect them from any standard nightclub, but definitely not a nice to sit in...

I arrived there in a good mood, but unfortunately, the meeting with the selector was the beginning of a particularly disappointing evening. The club was very crowded, with a long line outside. It goes without saying, but what is impossible.
When we asked him why he only lets in girls who look like him and others, he behaved rudely, cursed us in an unacceptable way, tried to use physical and violent contact and even humiliated us in front of everyone. It doesn't end here, towards tourists where he behaved in absolute cheapness, what Mir makes an impression on the place and on Israeli culture in general.
