Aloia Villas — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

Wow, wow, wow. We stayed in the 2 bedroom Villa Demi. 2 adults and 2 teens. It was incredible from start to finish. Being in the prime position overlooking the Caldera you can sit in your private pool all day staring at the amazing view with no obstruction. The villa was gorgeous with two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms decorated beautifully; it was a huge size for 2 bedrooms compared to other properties I looked at when researching. Elena who manages the villas did a great job organising anything we needed from transport to tours and dinners - she was available at all times on whats ap for any questions. The Breakfasts were brought to our room every day at a time of our choosing, and we could order something different every day as well. And the porters were incredible in negotiating the crowds with our luggage - impressive. |We chose to spend extra $$ on our Santorini accommodation compared to our other Greek destinations and I am so glad we did as Santorini is crowded. With the streets being overrun during the day with hundreds of people jostling to get the view, it was so worth having a villa to relax in away from the crowds with the view right there.... We could then venture through the streets after the cruise ships left at our leisure. |From the Demi Villa you can see the ridge line to the right where people line up to take photos of the Blue Domes which are on the other side.... I woke up one morning at 6am to see a couple wearing wedding outfits having professional photos taken.... so you need to just expect that. It was fun to watch... This place is exceptional!! Price is on the high-end but well worth it! You’ll get what you’ve paid for. You’ll have one of the best views in Oia from sunrise to sunset (though the sun is not visible from here during sunset the sky turns beautiful). Few steps away from one of the blue dome. Situated in a private section (gated). Very quiet but still walking distance to everything. (10-15 mins walk to the castle).

Transfer arrangement available per request to and from the airport. We paid €45 (high season) semiprivate for 4 person/ each way. We were welcomed with a wine and a personal note which was nice to see.

We’ve stayed for 3 nights at Villa Spyros. Perfect for family! Very spacious with hot tub. Lounge chairs available with a huge sun bed. The view is perfect place to have our breakfast (included) overlooking the caldera. Btw, did I mention that we loved the breakfast selection!

Inside you’ll be amazed by the interior setup. Spacious and clean. 2 huge flat screen TVs with Netflix available. Has a couch, small fridge and a convertible table if you want it bigger. Air conditioning is strong! Hot water in the shower is great. We have a beautiful and interesting shower area inside the master bedroom. It even has a bluetooth Marshall speakers available for you.

Top notch service! From the receptionist, Fey and all the staff who were very accommodating to our needs. Kudos to everyone! I highly recommend this place...

Had an incredible stay at the Aloia Villas. Specifically the Villa Alina. The location couldn't have been better with the villas located right by the iconic Blue Domes. Be warned that the area does get VERY busy during the day with tourists all in the area BUT once you are in your villa, it's peaceful and tranquil without any of the noise. It's a fantastic retreat from the heat and the crowd.

The villa was in immaculate shape and I couldn't think of anything else that I would have wanted. The bed was comfortable, plenty of amenities, the view was simply magical, and add to that the private jacuzzi tub overlooking the caldera.

Service was excellent. It's a small staff so you'll get to know them over the course of your stay. Extra thanks to them carrying our luggage through the crowded alleys.

It's definitely a treat staying at the Aloia Villas and I would recommend it.

The only feedback I have is that with the included breakfast, the variety could be expanded especially if someone is staying for more than a couple of days. But the breakfast itself was always tasty and plentiful.
