Luxury Villa Blue Dome Santorini — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

We’ve visited luxury hotels and villas around the world from Paris to Tokyo to the Hamptons and this was hands down the most amazing experience we’ve had! ||||LOCATION : The location is absolutely perfect. The villa is located in the most picturesque part of island by the beautiful blue dome and pink flowers. It’s conveniently located in a quiet nook away from the chaos of nightlife between Fira and Oia and only a 10 min walk to some great restaurants overlooking the water where you can enjoy the sunset. ||||VILLA: The villa itself is even more gorgeous in person and equipped with every amenity you may need from Jo Malone shower products to a stocked fridge. The house also comes with the sweetest housekeeper who prepares a full breakfast every morning, provides fresh linens and towels each day, and takes care of anything else you made need. ||||HOSPITALITY: As if the ambiance wasn’t spectacular enough, Alexandra goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible from booking cars, making reservations (she got us last minute reservations at some of the most popular restaurants on the island!), to offering great ideas for how to spend your days. Bona / Alexandra were some of the best host / concerirge we could ask for. Bona prepared fresh breakfast each morning with fresh croissants, homemade spinach pies, oj, and whatever else our hearts desired. Both my kids loved her spinach pies and chocolate milk, that was a staple each morning.

Bona also cleaned the house each morning, made it feel soo fresh.

Alexandra was the perfect concerirge, she was in touch with me constantly even prior to us coming there and always available for any questions, helping us book anything, etc.

The only downside of this villa is the location.. It's the spot where all the flying dress pictures are taken, so we had quite bit of noise. While in our pool, we had photographers look at us, which was very annoying and multiple times had to tell them to get off our front step.

We rarely had any time to take pics by the dome, which was literally outside our villa b/c of the nonstop photographers.

Spent 3 nights here with my husband, our 8 month old son, and our cousin in mid September, and we can't say enough about how amazing our stay was. Alexandra, the host, was so helpful throughout the entire booking process. She went above and beyond, even calling ferry companies for us and checking for specific baby formula, which we didn't even ask her to do.

The place and location was STUNNING. It is literally right next to the blue dome in Imerovigli. You can walk to plenty of restaurants, and it is about a 20 minute walk to Fira. The villa was spotless, and the amenities were plentiful.

And last, but certainly not least, Bona, the housekeeper. Bona not only did the usual tidying and cleaning every day, but she made our breakfast and coffee every morning (don't skip out on the yogurt bowls) at our preferred time, and she even did a load of baby clothes for us. She was sweet, kind, and very accommodating.

Worth every cent, and it we return to Santorini, we will absolutely be staying here again. Thank you...
