We stayed 4 nights at Manos Small World in August 2025 and had an amazing experience. Having stayed in Oia in 2023, this time I wanted to be in the other main area of Santorini — and this hotel was the perfect choice.
The views are incredible. Every room looks directly over the Caldera with unobstructed sunset and sunrise views. Each morning we woke up to the entire water spread out before us, even visible from bed with the windows open. Evenings on the balcony with a bottle of wine watching the sunset were unforgettable.
The room itself was comfortable and spacious, with nice touches like a sink, fridge, couch, and table. It’s simple but functional, and the balcony was the real highlight.
Breakfast is served on your balcony between 8:00–10:30am by Luis, who made the experience extra special. He always greeted us warmly, set up the table beautifully, made sure we had extra coffee, and even slipped us extra water bottles a few times. On our departure day, he carried two 50-pound suitcases up the steep steps like it was nothing — truly above and beyond. Renalda at reception was equally wonderful. She was so kind, welcoming, and always asked about our day, which made the stay feel extra personal.
The only area that could improve is breakfast itself. While the concept of a private balcony setup is charming, the food leaned heavily on bread, with only a small yogurt and a single egg for protein. With gluten sensitivities, I found the options a bit limited compared to other places we stayed in Greece. That said, we still appreciated the effort, and it didn’t take away from the overall experience.
Overall, I’d rate this property 5/5 on everything. Between the unbeatable views, the comfort of the room, and the incredible hospitality from Luis and Renalda, Manos Small World made our Santorini stay unforgettable. We’ll definitely return and recommend it to anyone...

Posting this while i am sitting at the balcony chilling the night away! I really hope a review like this would help you guys decide where to stay in Santorini.
For people with a budget, look no where else.
Manos is located super near the pedestrian where the taxi is gonna drop you and you walk a flight of steps down. If you need help with lugagge, Levan. The hotel staff (ALL) are very helpful and will always assist you with a smile. Asking you if everything is ok! Also, they reply on Whatsapp so its like a friend that is reachable online.
The room itself is very clean, spacious & i am very particular with cleanliness! The bed is very comfortable & even the sofa bed is. I slept very well. Santorini is extremely windy for the period of my stay so i could hear the rustle of the trees outside and i kinda like it. The sound of nature.
Talking about the sunset & the view. Yes just like what others have said, maybe OIA has good sunset view but this hotel is located on the same stretch too. Smacked right in the middle of the caldera, it has one of the unbeatable view from even your bed / your balcony. You really REALLY do not bave to go to Oia or any rooftop bar. Buy yourself some snacks, gyros and drinks, have it at your own door.
Thank you Jenny (recep), Levan (luggage guy & also breakfast guy), Andra (house keeping) and Flora (breakfast cook) for giving me such a good 3d3n in Manos. Keep that smile on your face & i really hope more people come to Manos.
Last but not least, altho there is no pool or jacuzzi in this hotel (that prob explain the price point) and i don't need those facilities. The location itself is unbeatable. 10 mins walk to the bus station, 20 mins walk to skaros Rock / Imergovili. It's really the ideal location! If you rent a car, the carpark is just right on top the short flight of...
Read moreWe stayed here for 8 nights in August 23. This hotel is in a fantastic location. Our shared terrace (where we had breakfast served every day) had an amazing view of the Caldera. Staff were very nice - Levani was more than helpful. Our room (suite 3) was clean & large & was cleaned every day. Fresh towels were also provided every day. The breakfasts had subtle differences everyday but were more than enough to “fuel” us for the day ahead. The bed was comfortable - some may think the mattress was too soft but we had great restful sleep while here. Even though Manos Small World is rated 3 stars (no pool), it feels like a 4 star property & judging by the prices of the other hotels in the area, this is really good value. There was a welcome bottle of water in the fridge when we arrived - it would have been nice if one had been provided every day of our trip. This hotel is not really suitable for anyone with mobility issues as there were 86 steps from our room to the top. I had to keep stopping for some air. The area - Firostefani - is wonderful. Away from|The madness that is cruise-ship tourist hell in Fira. The pace is slower & people here seem to be more “real”. I would highly recommend Aktaion restaurant on the top level - great food, ambiance &, on a sultry night, a welcome breeze. Our favourite restaurant in the area is The Blue Note in Imerovigli - about a 20 minute walk. Finally, we would highly recommend Manos Small World for anyone who wanted a lovely quite getaway with...
