A really wonderful place to stay in Flores. The staff were attentive and professional, the entire place and rooms were clean and comfortable. Casa Ramona is located close to the entry of the island and just one road off the water. It is on the quieter side of the island, but close to everything. They have a nice terrace with views of the water, but the rooms do not have a view or balconies; but don’t let that stop you from staying as you most likely will be on the water or enjoying the views from the many restaurants. Service was exceptional. Hans and other staff assisted up with every request and even packed up a delicious banana bread and hot coffee at 5:30 am before we left. In addition, I left my AirPods in the room and the staff retrieved them for me at the front desk. I highly recommend Casa Ramona as they have touched on every detail that a hotel should have: (Hangers, hooks, shelves, soap holders, light switches and outlets in smart locations and cleanliness). Great job to the owners, managers and staff! Lastly, the island of Flores has a festival (Ferria) in early January for two weeks. We were there on January 9-11 and enjoyed seeing the small parades and evening events and entertainment at the main square every night. It can be a bit noisy until 10-10:30 during the town fiesta, but worth...

Casa Ramona is a home away from home. Teresa, and Aurora are exceptional individuals. Kind, courteous, super friendly and super helpful. I arrived late and had to rush to an ATM to get cash in local currency. Unfortunately, the ATM did not dispense my money, instead, my bank account got debited by a significant amount of money. I was very stressed out because I had limited cash with me. My trip to Tikal was scheduled early next morning. They went out of their way to pack my breakfast, get the cash exchanged from a local bank and have everything ready by the time I got back from Tikal in the evening. As an added bonus they took care of my laundry ( I was traveling on road for the past week or so, it was SUCH A BIG HELP).....and all of that with a sweet smile. They are the real angels.!! I wish them the very best and will recommend to anyone traveling to Flores. May the business grow with such great...

Such a comfortable place. There is air conditioning and fans in the lobby area, which are essential in the sweltering heat. They have a very nice cafe and for us a delicious breakfast was included. They also have pastries and different sandwiches for lunch. The coffee was excellent. We tried a couple of americanos and a cortado. The room was small but comfortable with a nice bathroom and good water pressure. The beds and pillows were amazing, literally one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in. They’re very firm, if you don’t like that, you won’t like the bed. The terrace is also very beautiful and has aircon as well. Overall we loved our stay and the staff made everything even better. Thank...

This simple but charming hotel offers clean rooms at a strategic location. The breakfast includes three options, eggs, pancakes or porridge. They were all tasty and accompanied by fresh fruit but it would be nice to have a more traditional option. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. However, the hotel can be busy so if you have a room on the ground floor it is not always quiet. This did not disturb us but we are not light sleepers either!
