We stayed in a double room for 2 nights. ||The room had poor ventilation - it was stuffy inside, and with no mosquito nets in the windows you couldn't really open them. At least the fan got that stale air moving a bit.||The water heater in the shower had wires sticking out looking like a poor DIY job. Luckily we didn't get electrocuted.||Our room wasn't cleaned once during our stay, which meant that the trash bin in the bathroom was overflowing, and we had to use the same towels for a couple of days with no good way of drying them.||During the evenings you could hear loud music from 2 nearby discos. Luckily it only lasted until 10 or 11 PM.||The breakfast was a typical one (toasts, scrambled eggs, bean paste) but it was way too salty. The hotel has a bar-like common area at the top, but the breakfast was served in front of the hotel, where all the traffic to and from the island passes.||The person at the reception was helpful. The Wi-Fi worked...

I was here for 2 nights during my visit to the Peten, Guatemala area in northern Guatemala. This place is right across the street, from the pier and the lake. The views are spectacular, particularly from the higher floors. The people at the facility are reasonably friendly. Their reception and dining area are spacious, but they don't have much food besides vending machine fare. The pools are pretty, but are not turned on or open during the winter time. The hostels are quite cramped up and noisy, and not well-ventilated. The bathrooms were leaking and were not properly cleaned. The facilities and services offered were definitely not worth $20 per person.||||I recommend this place only as a backup option to anybody in the area looking for a home away from home when visiting the Peten area and the myriad of wonderful sights the place...

Went there for breakfast twice since I've stayed in the hotel next door and they offer breakfast on this hotel with the rooms, good service and food was nice. Location on the other hand... Well it has a disco next door which is incredibly loud, no noise protection also no care for the time the noise is on and very annoying. It would be a thousand times more popular if they got rid of that noisy neighbor.

The location is perfect, easy to get there from the airport. The staff is was wonderful, very kind and very helpful, specially Melanie and Sandy from reception. Such and amazing pool Bar looking on to the lake :) lovely breakfast included. We are from two different countries Honduras and the United Kingdom and we both love the hotel :) next time we will stay again :) adiós until we come back ;)
