Everything, exception made for the disposition inside the city center, EVERYTHING is a shitty crap!
From the main inside building, to the ADDAMS family elevator - smashed, rusted, creepy and completely unsafe - from the main host which constantly plays people to a more basic suggestion that always ends in the wrong way possible - like when you ask for the closest luggage storage and the only info you got from the host is about a main one which is actually closed, like forever.
Then, the rooms, the location..
God, the cleaning company wasn't there, so, we came in - after have paid ten euros per hour to have an early check-IN 'cause of the plain we were there 3 hours ahead the usual check-in timeframe, and then, the room was a mess.
Garbage, dirty stuff everywhere, the used bedclothes still pulled on the center of "our" bed.. and so on..
The bathroom with hairs everywhere as much as have the same on our mattress.
A real nightmare.
Then an unplesant call, they put their stuff together, we have to do stairs and stairs two times with 20 KG luggage waiting for the clean timeshift, and coming back later.. On top of all this, we had to use our stuff (bed linen + towels), cause the bed was so dense of hairs, dust, and all the sort of remains from the prior presence.. and, a bug kiler spray to be sure we weren't granted to be byted or infected by these shitty eco-system.
And there is more, but I think, at this point, that the way they behave is more than clear.
We book all this using Lastminute.com, the WORSTLY WORST service I have ever...
Read moreI will probably start with the fact that the experience in this hotel was really good, my friends and I often spontaneously travel to different countries and in a short period of time we are looking for accommodation at affordable prices, usually the hotels we stayed in left much to be desired, but this hotel was different from the rest, I will probably start with the significant advantages why I would return to this hotel|- affordable price |- no need to communicate with the staff, checking into the hotel is done independently (which for me as an introvert was an incredible experience)|-Located in a good location right next to the cafe New York|-enough space for personal belongings (although the room itself is not very big, but the rotation of furniture is nice and there is a lot of space for clothes, etc.)|- cleanliness (in fact, this hotel was impressed by the cleanliness and tranquility, every day a woman came to clean the kitchen and bathroom)|-enough showers for a comfortable stay|- kitchen with dishes and all necessary appliances such as a microwave and refrigerator |-the reservation was quick |-rooms for 3-4 people, which was a great privilege for a group of friends |- balcony from which you get very nice photos||of the minuses probably only not a spacious bed, although it did not play a role for us because we mostly slept in the hotel ||Overall it was a cool experience, I recommend...
Read moreIt's one of worst properties to book in Budapest. I recommend everyone to avoid it at any costs.
These are the issues that I had to face when I booked this property: First, it's not a hostel! It's a tiny small apartment with 3-4 rooms and a common bathroom. There was no check in desk and the instructions to check in were incomplete and wrong. The keys were not where they were said to be and wifi password wasnt provided.
After calling multiple times, the staff verbally told me the password which turned out to wrong and didn't work. That made my life very difficult as I didn't have working internet.
Overall the staff was very rude and didn't want to help me in any regard. They didn't agree to any of my complaints even after proper proof and I had to book a different place at the last minute.
I would recommend to avoid this misleading place and find other places in Budapest that are...
