I recently had the pleasure of staying at Fashion City Hotel during my visit to Budapest, and I cannot recommend it highly enough!
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by warm and friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, setting a positive tone for the rest of my visit.
The hotel itself is well-appointed with a modern aesthetic that's both stylish and inviting. Our room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the amenities one could need, including a cozy bed, reliable Wi-Fi, and a well-maintained bathroom. The decor is chic, reflecting the vibrant fashion scene of the city.
Location is another highlight—Fashion City Hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to explore Budapest’s main attractions. Public transport is just a short walk away, which made sightseeing a breeze!
Breakfast offered a delightful spread with plenty of options to cater to various tastes. I particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries and local dishes that provided a great start to each day.
Overall, my experience at Fashion City Hotel was fantastic! If you're looking for a comfortable, stylish place to stay in Budapest with fantastic service and a prime location, this hotel is an excellent choice. I can’t wait to return!
It has also a parking, near the hotel, you must just reserve it earlier and when you come just ask at...
Read moreThe only good thing about this hotel is the location. It’s very convenient to access all the sightseeing spots by foot. Apart from that it’s totally overpriced, the rooms are super tiny, there was no window and no sun light in my room at all (they don’t look like in the pictures they post at all) very very noisy, anything happening at reception you can hear clearly in the room, even people talking in the next room also you can hear that, so sleeping is only possible wearing earplugs; the AC is not working( there is ac but they don’t let it cool other than at summer time) Shower and toilet are behind the glass door through which you can see everything happening inside, which makes the usage of the toilet very uncomfortable travelling with another person. There is no tea and coffee and no even cups, also water is chargeable 😢 No hair conditioner, only shower gel which is also a shampoo.; no iron in the room as well. Check out time is weirdly at 10:30 unlike 12 noon as usual, but they let you leave the bags at reception for as long as you need, which is very convenient and nice of them to do. Breakfast is fine but very poor choice of food. Overall it’s not a bad place to stay as for a 3 star hotel ⭐️, but the issue with noise is big, also it’s very much overpriced, even the location doesn’t make it...
Read moreI have some mixed feelings about this hotel. It is advertised everywhere, half the city talks about it and believes it is the most amazing hotel in the city centre.
It is unique, I give that. The decor is nice, bed comfy, the staff and everybody are super helpful.
I can't understand why can't we access the front door with our keycards at late, we have to ring the bell in for the night porter to let us in. It only took seconds, however I'd expected a little more automated access to the hotel.
The bathroom and toilet is separated by a glass wall from the room, which offered zero to no privacy at all. Room was a bit cramped and on the small side.
The shower is a walk in shower with glass door which opens outward. The only problem is that if there is a bath mat there, it'll push the mat away when you open the door, so might as well put the bath mat somewhere else, because you can't step on it coming out of the shower.
The café served breakfast with limited choices, however everything was lovely and fresh, we started our days with a very nice fill.
Overall the design flaws in the bathroom and the size of the room compared to the price paid is something what will keep me away from the hotel in the future. I can only recommend if you get a cheap deal, but plenty of amazing...
